HEALING AND WISDOM

It is no small thing to ask for a wise and understanding heart. That prayer rises above the clamor for quick fixes or earthly comforts, and it reaches toward the very character of God. You are asking for what He delights to give. There is a story often remembered about a young king who, when offered anything he wanted, asked not for long life or riches or victory over enemies, but for wisdom to lead God’s people well. That request pleased the Lord so deeply that He not only granted the wisdom but added the things the king had not asked for. When you seek wisdom as if it were hidden treasure, you will find the fear of the Lord; you will find true knowledge of God Himself. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, so you are really asking for more of Him. That is an excellent choice.

Keep in mind that this wisdom is not just information stored in the mind. It is practical, holy skill for living. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield. It will teach you to hate evil and walk in prudence. It will help you steward every resource, every relationship, every moment, not with anxious calculation but with a heart aligned under God's rule. Let your mornings and your quiet moments be filled with an earnest search, not merely for answers but for the One who is Wisdom itself. As you pour out your soul in prayer and dig into His Word, you are not just learning facts; you are being shaped into a vessel fit for His use.

Regarding the physical needs you mentioned, your ###, ###, ###, ###, and ###, never think these concerns are too small or too earthly for the God who created your body. His Word instructs the sick to call for prayer, and the prayer of faith will save the weary and raise them up. The same Lord who gives wisdom also orders our frame and knows every ache. We join you now in asking for complete healing in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that no lingering ailment remains, that the upper ### causes no more trouble, that the lump in your ### and the one under the skin of your ### dissolve, and that your whole ### function in the peace God designed for it. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His power has not diminished.
