Healing and peace

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for me and my family. Deliver us from evil and surround us with your peace. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your heartfelt plea for healing and peace for you and your family. It is comforting to know that you recognize the need for divine protection and the peace that only God can provide. We are reminded of the scripture in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." This passage encourages us to seek God's healing through prayer and faith.

We also take solace in Philippians 4:6-7, which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Your prayer for peace is heard, and we trust that God will surround you and your family with His calming presence.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your healing touch for our brother/sister and their family. Lord, we ask that You lay Your healing hands upon them, restoring their bodies, minds, and spirits. Protect them from all harm and evil, and surround them with Your divine peace that surpasses all understanding. Deliver them from any schemes of the enemy and shield them with Your mighty power.

Father, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. If there are any areas in their lives that need repentance and forgiveness, reveal them, Lord, and grant them the strength to turn away from sin and towards You. May they find comfort and strength in Your Word and in the fellowship of believers.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, dear one, and remember that God is always with you. Keep seeking Him through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). May you feel His presence and peace in a tangible way as you walk this journey with Him.

We’re standing with you in this prayer, asking for God’s healing and protection over you and your family. You’ve done something very right, you brought it all directly to the Father and placed it in His hands. He sees what you’re facing, and He hears you.

When we ask for deliverance from evil and for His peace, we’re asking for exactly what Jesus taught us to want. It can feel like a battle to hold onto that peace when illness or trouble presses in, but you aren’t holding on alone. We join our prayers with yours right now, and we trust that the One who is our peace is with you.

Sometimes the heaviness lifts a little faster when we let a few trusted Christian friends or a small group pray with us in person. If you have people around you who know the Lord, consider inviting them to simply sit with you, listen, and pray. The presence of others may not fix everything at once, but it often reminds us that we are not isolated in the fight.

We pray: Lord Jesus, we lift up this person and their family. You are the great Physician and our refuge. Bring healing where it is needed, body, mind, and spirit. Place a hedge of protection around them, and deliver them from every evil that threatens. Calm the inner storms and replace fear with Your peace that passes understanding. Thank You for Your constant care, for the good You are already doing, and for the hope we have in You. We ask this in Your strong name, Jesus. Amen.

The cry for peace and deliverance rises from many hearts, but there is a peace that is a curse and a peace that is a blessing. The peace that God gives is not the quiet slumber of an undisturbed conscience, that false calm where the strong man armed keeps his goods. True peace comes from lips that cannot lie, from a heart which cannot change, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement. Seek that peace and make sure of it. When the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, what a heaven lies within, even in the midnight of this world of care.

You ask for deliverance from evil. Know this: deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. The Evil One would have you doubt your own Father, but the clock of mercy strikes in Heaven at the hour and moment God has decreed. He has found a ransom. The deliverance of God is an eternal one, and the infernal lion shall never rend one sheep or lamb that the Great Shepherd deigns to keep.

For healing, look to the tree of life whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. O you who feel the sickness of sin and sorrow, ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. When the root of bitterness is taken away, the evil which grows out of it is also removed. In answer to your prayer, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One," you shall be preserved, for that Evil One touches you not.

Bear your sorrow with Him and then see what peace, what perfect peace, you will enjoy. This is a present possession, to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life. Go not rambling round to find peace. Stay at home in your closet with your God. If Christ has delivered us from the noise of archers and we are at perfect peace with heaven, let us not fold our arms and sleep, but let our conduct after deliverance be to live and declare the works of the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for peace and healing, and rightly so, for peace is the mother of all good things, the very foundation of joy. But understand what true peace is. It is not merely the absence of outward trouble. Many cry "Peace, peace," when there is no peace, for the world gives a peace that ends in ruin, a calm that masks the disease within. The peace you seek must first be peace with God, bought by the blood of Christ, who came not to give a cheap truce but to cut away the sin that wars against the soul. Sometimes that sword must sever what is diseased, even if it brings temporary pain, so that heaven and earth may be united in you. Do not then ask only to be spared from evil, but to be delivered from the love of evil itself. For what good is it if your body is healed and your passions remain untamed, if your family is shielded from enemies outside but torn by strife within? There can be no true peace while any part of you is at war with God’s will. The peace of God must stand as umpire in your heart, silencing the clamorous thoughts of revenge, greed, or lust, and crowning instead the quiet voice of endurance and love.

Pursue peace with all men, but not the peace that comes from compromise with sin. The peacemakers are called sons of God because they imitate Him who reconciled the world to Himself, but He did so by destroying enmity, not by coddling it. If then you seek peace, make it your aim to be holy, for without holiness no one will see the Lord. Let your household examine itself: are any of its members at war with one another, nursing old grievances, speaking slander, or envying? Such things rend the Body of Christ worse than any spear. How can you receive the blessing "Peace be unto you" in the assembly and then carry a sword against your own brother? That peace is not a mere form of words; it is Christ Himself who deigns to speak by His servants. When you say, "And to thy spirit," mean it, and let no bitter root defile you. The angels themselves minister to those who will inherit salvation; do not despise even one little one, for their angels always behold the face of the Father. If you would have deliverance from evil, then put away the evil within, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

So pray for healing, yes, but even more, pray for the grace to cut off every lust, every proud thought, every spark of discord. For when your soul is thus amputated of its festering parts, then health truly springs up, and the Spirit descends gently like a dove, bringing not an olive branch merely, but adoption into the family of God. That is the peace Christ left us: not as the world gives, but a peace that makes you stronger, a peace fixed and steadfast because it rests on God alone. Return no evil for evil; let the peace of God rule in your hearts, and you will find that He who delivered the world from the flood of wrath will deliver you from every storm. Amen.
