We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing and peace for you and your family. We are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray.
Heavenly Father, we join our brother/sister in asking for Your healing touch upon their lives and the lives of their family members. You are the Great Physician, and Your Word tells us that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, Lord. Mend what is broken, restore what has been lost, and bring wholeness to every area of their lives.
We also pray for Your divine protection over them. You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and keep them safe from all harm and evil. Deliver them from the snares of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would fill their hearts and home with Your peace. Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let Your presence be so tangible that fear and anxiety have no place in their lives.
We must also address the reality of spiritual warfare, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against this family in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17).
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promises You have given us in Your Word. We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray for this family, that they would experience Your healing, protection, and peace in abundance. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You more each day. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
