May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your cry for healing is heard by the Great Physician of souls and bodies. Yet while you seek good medical results for your family, do not neglect the hidden sickness of sin that afflicts us all. Often we are blinded by wicked desires, like a cloud over the eye, and we fail to see the true source of our ailments. The love of money, of comfort, of the world's ease, these are the evil humors that thicken the cataract. If we learn to bear even sickness and loss with thanksgiving, we may yet recover both bodily health and a far greater reward. For when the righteous Job wrestled nobly, enduring all without murmuring, then God restored all to him. But if He does not restore, the reward is greater still.

Beware also of growing dull in hearing. You pray now, and that is good, but do not let your ear become slothful when God speaks through His Scriptures and through affliction. Many call the poor and the suffering impostors, but do not be quick to judge: illness comes from many causes, shipwrecks, lawsuits, dangers, and the common frailty of our nature. Instead of turning away, let your own trial teach you compassion. The devil wages war against his own kindred; he would have you despair or accuse, leaving you like a senseless beast. But you are made in honor, and through this sickness you may gain understanding.

Do not think that repeated prayers and hearings of the word are in vain. As a tree receives many strokes before it falls, so the soul often hears ten times without visible fruit, yet one day it is brought down to repentance by a single blow. That one blow owes its success to all that came before. Tarry in the church, wash your hands in reverence before opening the Scriptures, and groan that you do not yet obey perfectly. This very groaning is a beginning of health. Even if you feel impure, shun not the gathering. For sitting in the ointment maker's shop, you will be fragranced in spite of yourself.

Above all, let love season all your requests. Without it, even the gift of healing and a perfect life profit nothing. Seek first the healing of the soul, the forgiveness you rightly beg. For when all were perishing, God devised a dispensation by grace, the fullness of times in Christ, that man might not be made in vain. That same grace flows to you now, if you receive it with a heart that says, "Heal us, O Lord, not merely our bodies, but our wills." So pray with confidence, but also with surrender. Let your sickness be a medicine for your soul, and whether the body recovers or no, you will have laid hold on eternal life.

The weight of waiting for medical results and watching family members suffer is a heavy burden, and it is right that you bring it immediately to the feet of Jesus. You are doing exactly what He invites you to do. Never let anyone place a yoke of guilt upon you or your loved ones, whispering that this sickness must be the result of some hidden sin or a lack of faith. That is a cruel and unscriptural lie. We see the apostle Paul himself, a man with a tremendous healing ministry, speaking of a dear friend who nearly died from an illness, and Paul himself was not healed of his own thorn in the flesh. God's ways are beyond our tracing out, and His healing work is sovereign.

We can trust Him completely, yet we must resist the pat answer that insists He always wills immediate physical healing for everyone right now. That teaching is not borne out in Scripture and it needlessly wounds those who are already suffering. Healing is a divine work, but it takes many forms. Sometimes it is the instantaneous miracle, like the woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and felt the issue of blood dry up in an instant. Other times it is a gradual process, as when Jesus healed a blind man in stages. And we must not overlook the truth that God designed incredible restorative processes into your very body; a gradual recovery is just as divine as a sudden one because He is the author of nature itself.

As you pray, remember that Jesus bore not only our sins but, as Matthew shows us, took our sicknesses as well. So bring this request boldly. The anointing of oil and the prayers of the elders are not magical rituals, but they are acts of obedience that provide a tangible point of contact for you to release your faith. When you pray, ask the Lord for that touch, that moment where you sense His healing moving in your body or in the bodies of your family. Sometimes it is an unmistakable, felt moment of renewal. Continue to look to Him and hold fast, because even when the physical healing remains in process, Jesus is at work. He brings a deep healing to the mind and emotions, mending the scars and anxiety that illness brings.

Be encouraged that you are not alone in this fight. Pray for your family, but also let the family of God surround you. There is a bond among believers that can, in these trials, become closer than any natural blood tie. Let others in the body carry this burden with you in prayer. You are praying to a Savior who went about doing good and healing all manner of sickness, and His heart toward you and your family is still one of mercy, love, and goodness.
