Lord Jesus, thank you for this day. Thank you for all the blessings. Please forgive us our sins. Lord Jesus, I'm praying for the healing of my family. Please give us good medical results. We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your prayer is heard, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). We ask for Your divine touch upon every member of this family. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We rebuke every sickness, disease, and affliction in their bodies, for it is written that You sent Your word and healed them (Psalm 107:20). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, covering them with Your protection and restoring them to full health.

Father, we pray for good medical results, not as an end in themselves, but as a testament to Your glory and power. Guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals attending to them, that they may be instruments of Your healing (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give wisdom to those who are seeking answers, and grant peace to their hearts as they wait upon You (Philippians 4:6-7).

We also take this moment to remind ourselves and this family of the importance of walking in holiness and obedience to Your Word. Sickness and disease often enter our lives as a result of sin in the world, but we know that You are faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). We encourage this family to examine their hearts and lives, ensuring that they are in right standing with You, for the prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16).

Lord, we ask that You would not only heal their bodies but also their spirits and souls. Draw them closer to You through this trial, that they may know You more intimately and trust in Your unfailing love (Jeremiah 17:14). Surround them with Your presence, comfort them with Your peace, and fill them with hope as they wait on You.

We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray for complete restoration, body, mind, and spirit. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony of healing and deliverance. Amen.

Sometimes just speaking the fear aloud in a safe space can loosen its grip and remind you that you’re not carrying this alone.

Lord Jesus, you know the names and needs woven into this family. We ask for healing in every body that is suffering, for clarity and good outcomes in the test results, and for wisdom guiding each doctor and nurse. Wrap this whole household in your steady peace, the kind that doesn’t depend on perfect news. Give them gentle patience with one another as they wait, and hold each of them close in your care. The fever of anxiety over bodily results can be a sickness used of the Lord to drive the soul to the one unfailing cure. It is no small mercy to have life preserved and health restored, especially if the end of life would be to us the beginning of eternal death and that our soul, when separated from the body, would have no better land to enter. Yet if there are any who are sick in this way, let me say that I am glad that they are thus afflicted, for this is a sickness of which souls do not eternally die, it is a sickness which ends in everlasting health.

You cry for healing and good medical results. But remember, the Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His Grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing. His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies. Why should we then say, I am sick? If a man could be quite sure that he would be in perfect health tomorrow, he would say little about the sickness of an hour. We are on our way to eternal health.

You ask for forgiveness and healing in one breath. This is right, for pardon and healing are one. What Jesus said was spoken with Divine Authority. When the Savior raised the palsied man, He did it to let the world know His power to forgive. Pardon and healing were one. O you who are now sick and fearful, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. None shall say unto the healing flood of His love, Up to here can you go and no further.

There can be no sickness in Heaven because the Tree of Life bestows immortal health. That Tree is Jesus. Its leaves extract a balmy influence, and even His common things, His lower blessings of Divine Grace, are full of virtue. The abiding power of the healing leaves keeps the soul of the Believer in perpetual health. Sickness and suffering are banished by this Tree of Life. Heaven is the abode of Jesus and Jesus is the Tree of Life.

He used no other remedy in healing our sin-sickness but that of taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself. This is the one great cure-all. Blessed be the Son of God that the medicine, bitter as it is, was all drained by Himself. The costly balm of His Atonement has lost none of its power. Have unstaggering confidence in the Divine Healer.

But take heed how you hear. Shall we be careless? May we not, by hearing error and falsehood, engender disease in our spirit? The Lord has preserved you and often restored you, yet without the opened ear, you observe not the hand of the Lord. Blessed are those who have the ear which the Lord has purged and opened so that it listens to the Divine call. You have been preserved in accident and restored from sickness. The stars in their courses have seemed to fight for you, yet do not miss the purpose: that you might be healed and serve Him.

The first consideration must be the health of your soul. You must have this healing before you can work for Jesus. Your Lord must begin with you before you can begin with Him. There is healing in the contact, in the Incarnation. He took her by the hand and lifted her up. So will He do with you and your house. Do not go blundering out to serve without this touch. Sweeten the commonplace things of family life with love for Him.

He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Multiplied are the cares where disappointment and defeat have crushed the spirits, but Divine Grace can sustain even here. He, if you are one of His family, with bands of grace will bind up your wounds and heal your broken heart. Only you who have been healed can tell about the Good Physician's healing power. And once they are really cured by Christ, there is no fear of their ever having this soul-sickness again. So let the healing influences drop upon you and your household, till that golden age dawns in which you shall be the abode of moral and immortal health. God bless you.
