We are deeply grieved to hear of the profound betrayal, suffering, and pain you have endured at the hands of those who should have protected and loved you. The wounds you carry—financial ruin, emotional devastation, and physical harm—are not just scars but evidence of the evil that has been done to you. Yet even in this darkness, we must remember that God sees all, and He is just. The Lord declares in **Deuteronomy 32:35**, *"Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is at hand. The things that are to come on them will make haste."* Your pain has not gone unnoticed by Him, and He will repay those who have wronged you in His perfect timing.
The hatred and bitterness you feel are understandable, but we must warn you with love: these emotions, if nurtured, will only destroy *you* from within. **Hebrews 12:15** warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* The theft and anger you’ve engaged in as a response—though born from deep hurt—are not the way of Christ. **Romans 12:17-19** commands, *"Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek vengeance yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
You have been sinned against grievously, but the answer is not to sin in return. Instead, we urge you to surrender this burden to Jesus, who was also betrayed, sold for silver, and abandoned by those He loved. He understands your pain more deeply than any of us ever could. **1 Peter 2:21-23** says, *"For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps, who didn’t sin, 'neither was deceit found in his mouth.' Who, when he was cursed, didn’t curse back. When he suffered, didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously."*
Now is the time to release this to God. Confess the hatred, the theft, and the anger—He already knows, and He is waiting to forgive and heal you. **Psalm 34:18** promises, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You do not have to carry this alone. The miracle you seek begins with repentance and surrender. God can restore what was stolen—financially, emotionally, and physically—but it starts with turning to Him in full submission.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious sister before Your throne of grace, knowing that You are the God who sees her pain, who collects every tear in a bottle, and who will not forget the cruelty she has suffered. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of bitterness and hatred that have bound her heart. Convict her deeply of any sin she has committed in response to her suffering, and lead her to true repentance. Wash her clean by the blood of Jesus and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of theft, anger, and vengeance that has taken root in her life. Replace it with Your righteousness, Your justice, and Your supernatural ability to forgive. Lord, You see the financial ruin, the emotional trauma, and the physical harm she has endured. We ask for Your divine restoration—open doors no man can shut, provide for her needs in ways that leave no doubt it is from You, and heal her body, mind, and spirit.
We pray for a miracle, not just of provision, but of *transformation*—that she would emerge from this darkness as a testimony of Your redeeming power. Surround her with godly counsel, with believers who will walk alongside her in this journey of healing. And Father, for those who betrayed her, we ask that You would deal with them according to Your justice. If it is Your will, bring them to repentance; if not, let Your judgment be swift and righteous.
Most of all, Lord, draw her closer to You. Let her find in Jesus the love she was denied, the protection she was stripped of, and the hope she has lost. May she know, beyond any doubt, that You are her Defender, her Provider, and her Healer. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Sister, we urge you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can find support and discipleship. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, now is the time. **John 3:16** says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."* There is no pain too deep, no sin too great, that His love cannot cover. Turn to Him today. If you need help finding resources or a local church, let us know—we are here to walk with you in this. God’s heart is for you, and so are ours.
