Today is the day I hate the most

Today is my birthday. I don't mention it because I am asking for any type of greeting from you. I used to feel special being born on Christmas Eve 2 months premature, ### years ago they could not do much medically. Today, my life is complete hell or h-e- double hockey sticks if I can't use the word. I need something close to a miracle because of the hate someone has for me and needlessly too. My neighbor and her children torture me all day every single day and night by stomping, jumping, screaming, above me, searing at me, bodyslamming my doors. Rarely do they give me a moments rest or sleep. I don't know why but they do it on purpose because I have told her what it does to me. No one will help me so I pray and I am begging you to pray that they stop and that The Lord will bless me by blessing them with His love.

We hear your deep pain and anguish, and we come before the Lord with heavy hearts on your behalf. Birthdays are meant to be days of celebration, yet yours has become a reminder of suffering—both physically from your early struggles and now emotionally from the torment you endure. The cruelty you describe is unacceptable, and no one should have to live in such constant distress. We stand with you in prayer, lifting your situation to the One who sees all and judges justly.

First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and what you are experiencing is not merely human cruelty but a manifestation of evil. The relentless harassment you face is an attack on your peace, your health, and your dignity. We rebuke the spirits of torment, hatred, and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that the plans of the enemy against you will not stand, for no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also pray for justice and intervention. It is unjust that those who should show kindness instead inflict harm, and it is wrong that no earthly authority has stepped in to protect you. We ask the Lord to stir the hearts of those in positions to help—landlords, law enforcement, or even other neighbors—to see your plight and act. Proverbs 31:8-9 calls us to "open [our] mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy." May the Lord raise up advocates for you.

Yet we also recognize the power of blessing those who curse you. This is not easy, but it is what Christ commands: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). We join you in praying that the Lord would soften the hearts of your neighbors, that they would come to know His love and turn from their ways. We ask that He would reveal Himself to them in dreams, convictions, or through the testimony of others, so that they might repent and be saved. This is not to excuse their behavior but to trust God’s ability to transform even the hardest of hearts.

We also lift up your physical and emotional well-being. The lack of rest and constant stress are taking a toll on you, and we pray for supernatural peace and strength. Psalm 34:18-19 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." We ask the Lord to give you moments of respite, to fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), and to renew your strength as you wait on Him (Isaiah 40:31).

Finally, we want to remind you of your worth in Christ. You were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your life has value beyond measure. The fact that you were born on Christmas Eve—a day celebrating the birth of our Savior—is no coincidence. It is a reminder that God has a purpose for you, even in this season of suffering. We pray that He would reveal that purpose to you, that He would use this trial to draw you closer to Him, and that He would turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is enduring such relentless torment. Lord, You see every stomp, every scream, every moment of agony they endure. We ask that You would arise as their defender, their shield, and their deliverer. Break the power of hatred and cruelty in this situation, and let Your peace flood their home. Father, we rebuke the spirits of oppression and torment in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

Lord, we pray for justice. Stir the hearts of those who can intervene—landlords, authorities, or even other neighbors—to see the injustice and act on their behalf. Give them favor and protection under the law. We also pray for their neighbors, that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the harm they are causing. Turn their hatred into repentance, and let them experience Your love in a way that transforms their lives.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch. Restore their physical strength, grant them restful sleep, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them of their worth in You, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You have a purpose for their life. Help them to trust in You even when the night is darkest, knowing that joy comes in the morning.

Lord, we thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You save those with a crushed spirit. We trust You to deliver them from this affliction and to turn their mourning into dancing. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way today, and may they know that they are not alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the One who has overcome the world. Amen.

We're here with you today, dear friend, as you face another birthday that's been marred by the relentless torment of your neighbors. It's not fair, and it's not right. We're angry with you, not at you, because no one deserves to live like this. We're joining our voices with yours, crying out to the Lord on your behalf.

We know that this isn't just about your neighbors' actions; there's a spiritual battle raging, and evil is at work. So, we stand with you, claiming the power of Jesus' name over your situation. We declare that the spirits of torment, hatred, and oppression must flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that the Lord would send His mighty angels to encamp around you, protecting you and your home from further harm.

We're also praying for justice. We ask the Lord to open the eyes of those in authority, to stir their hearts to act on your behalf. We pray that your neighbors would be held accountable for their actions, and that they would face the consequences of their cruelty.

But we also remember the words of Jesus, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). So, we're asking the Lord to soften their hearts. We pray that they would come to know His love, turn from their ways, and be saved. We believe in the power of God's love to transform even the hardest of hearts.

And finally, we're lifting up your physical and emotional well-being. We pray for supernatural peace and strength to sustain you through this trial. We ask the Lord to grant you moments of respite, to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, and to renew your strength as you wait on Him.

You are not alone, dear friend. We're with you, and so is the Lord. He sees your pain, He hears your cries, and He will deliver you. Trust in Him, and know that your worth is immeasurable in His eyes. He has a purpose for your life, even in this season of suffering. We pray that He would reveal that purpose to you, and that He would use this trial to draw you closer to Him.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
