For two months my neighbour has constantly harassed me, films my home and property, laid false allegations against me to get money out of me and is now dictating to me what I can and can not have in my garden.
This neighbour is trying to destroy me. I'm still waiting for the police to take action.
Please pray this man is completely removed from my neighbourhood.

We hear your cry for justice and peace, and we stand with you in this difficult trial. The harassment, false accusations, and intrusion into your life and property are not only unjust but also violate the biblical principles of love, respect, and boundaries that God has established for His people. Scripture tells us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." However, when others refuse peace and instead seek to harm, we are also called to stand firm in truth and seek justice.

We must rebuke the spirit of oppression and deceit that is at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). This neighbor’s actions are rooted in ungodliness, and we pray that God would expose his motives and bring his schemes to nothing. Proverbs 26:27 warns, "Whoever digs a pit shall fall into it. Whoever rolls a stone, it will come back on him." We trust that God will turn this man’s wickedness back upon his own head if he does not repent.

We also lift up your patience and trust in the legal process. It is frustrating to wait for justice, but we are reminded in Psalm 37:7-9, "Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret; it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land." We pray that the authorities would act swiftly and justly in this matter, and that God would grant you wisdom in how to respond while you wait.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring an end to this neighbor’s harassment. Lord, we pray that You would either change his heart or remove him from this neighborhood entirely, so that Your child may live in peace. We declare that no weapon formed against [this individual] shall prosper, and we ask that You would protect their home, their property, and their peace of mind. Give them strength and patience as they wait for justice, and grant them wisdom in every step they take.

We also pray for this neighbor, that You would open his eyes to the error of his ways. If he is acting out of malice or greed, we ask that You would convict his heart and lead him to repentance. If he is under the influence of darkness, we bind those spirits in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. We ask that You would replace his heart of stone with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26) and that he would come to know You as his Lord and Savior.

Lord, we ask that You would surround [this individual] with Your angels and shield them from harm. Provide them with godly counsel and support during this time, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You.

We also pray for the authorities involved in this case. Give them discernment, wisdom, and a sense of urgency to act justly. Let them see the truth of this situation and move swiftly to protect the innocent. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those who may be slow to act and that You would remove any obstacles standing in the way of justice.

In all things, we surrender this situation to You, Lord, knowing that You are a God of justice and righteousness. We trust that You will vindicate Your child and bring peace to their home. May Your will be done in this matter, and may Your name be glorified through it all. We pray this in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re so sorry you’ve been walking through this. Two months of constant filming, false allegations, and feeling dictated to even in your own garden, that’s exhausting and deeply unsettling. No one should have to live under that kind of siege.

When someone’s behavior is this intrusive and controlling, it’s wise to keep documenting everything: dates, times, what was said or done, and any evidence like recordings or screenshots. That record helps the police see the full pattern, not just isolated moments, and it gives you something concrete to point to when you follow up with them. If you haven’t already, you might ask the police for a named contact or reference number so you can check on progress without starting over each time.

Beyond that, we’re glad you reached out for prayer. Being on edge in your own home is draining, and it’s easy for fear to take up more and more space. We’re praying that God gives you a steady, quiet courage as you wait, and that you feel his nearness right where you are, even in the middle of something so unfair.

Let’s pray:

Jesus, our brother in hardship, please shield this household. Let your peace settle in the rooms and the garden so fear doesn’t find a foothold. Give wisdom to the police and to anyone in authority who can step in, and guide their hands to act swiftly and fairly. We ask for a real change in this neighbor, soften whatever has driven him to this, and bring this harassment to a complete stop. Hold up this family. Give them restful sleep, calm during the day, and the deep assurance that you see them and will not let go. Amen.

False allegations and malicious watching are the tools of the father of lies, and such trials drive us to heart-searching. Have you never used false words? Have there been no lying expressions of an affection that you never felt? Let us be vigilant and stir up our pure minds to self-examination, that every false way may be purged, for he who travels on the King’s Highway is under the King’s protection, but he who takes to bypaths of bitterness or self-vengeance must protect himself and will meet with robbers who make him rue the day. Take heed that you build on nothing else but Christ, for if you do, your house will tumble about your ears when most you need its shelter. The removal of the curse from us is done in a moment. It is an instantaneous thing, an entire removal, irreversible. The Lord can hush the loud thunder of this trial, and no fear of it left. Abide in the good old paths, forsake not your father’s God, for if you go in the way of error you cannot expect Divine protection. Commend your cause to Him who judges righteously and pray that this man’s heart be turned from darkness, while you rest in the keeping of angels appointed over all your ways.

When the righteous are near the end of their trials, God often permits the struggle to grow fierce, that the victory may be the more glorious. You are not destroyed by this man’s schemes, unless you let his poison enter your own soul. Ask yourself: from what root does this conflict spring? Every strife among men grows from the things of this life, covetousness, envy, empty pride. He films your property and dictates your garden because he clings to earthly shadows. Do you also cling to them? If he hinders your outward comfort, he cannot touch the treasure laid up for you above. He harms only himself, for he who plots against his neighbor first destroys himself.

You wait for the police, but the true Judge sees all. If you have a good conscience, do not let false accusations trouble you; the Apostle trusted in his conscience even when many turned against him. Rather than pray only for this man’s removal, pray that the root of covetousness be cut out from your own heart, and from his. Then the fruit of conflict will wither. He who despises money and lives orderly already receives his reward: freedom from anxiety, from plotting, from the fear of slander. For your part, ensure you have given no just cause for offense. If you are blameless, endure in patience, and do not bring an accusation lightly; the Lord permits trial not for your ruin but for your perfecting. Then, whether the man stays or goes, you will have peace that the world cannot give.

You are living through the kind of crushing trial that Scripture speaks to with great clarity. When someone secretly films your home, spins false allegations to extract money, and now tries to dictate what you may keep in your own garden, that is not just a neighborhood dispute. It is a campaign of lies, and at its root lies something the Bible warns about frequently: the false witness. From the Law of Moses onward, God instructed that anyone who bore false witness against a neighbor was to face the very punishment they tried to bring on the innocent. The Lord hates false testimony because it twists the whole fabric of justice and tears at the soul.

I hear the exhaustion and the fear in your words. Two months of constant harassment wears down even the strongest spirit, especially when those in authority seem slow to act. Yet do not be deceived into thinking the truth will remain hidden. The wheels of God’s justice may grind slower than we want, but they grind exceedingly fine. Every false report, every manipulation, every deceptive accusation is laid bare before Him. He is the righteous judge who sees the hidden motives. What a man films in secret, God observes in broad daylight. What a man schemes in his bed, heaven records. There is a true justice that will ultimately settle every account.

Your neighbor’s tactics mirror something else the Scriptures spotlight: people who clothe themselves with a show of righteousness while seeking to make merchandise of others. False accusers often mix in fragments of truth to give their fabrications a believable shape. But a lie remains a lie, no matter how much footage is edited or how indignant the tone. The early believers were taught a simple test: when someone persistently uses spiritual or legal cover to drain others financially, their fruit betrays them. A demand for money flowing from manufactured grievances reveals the heart behind the harassment.

Right now you feel as if this man is trying to destroy you, and that pain is real. Reputations are fragile. A single smear can stain what took decades to build. But the Lord who allowed His own Son to be maligned as a glutton and a drunkard, and far worse, sees the full story. Jesus stood before false witnesses who could not make their testimonies agree, and yet He entrusted Himself to the Father who judges justly. That same Father is yours.

So while you wait for the police, I will pray as you have asked: that God Almighty would shield your home, preserve your reputation, and yes, remove this persistent evil from your neighborhood in whatever way He sovereignly sees fit. But let me also urge you to guard your own heart. Do not repay evil for evil. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. The day will come when every hidden deed is brought into the light, and every lie will be silenced. In the meantime, cry out to the God who hears. He is no stranger to the schemes of wicked men, and He will not let the righteous be shaken forever.
