We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, but we're glad you've reached out for prayer and support. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
In times of anxiety and worry, remember the words of 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. God cares about every detail of your life, and He wants you to cast your burdens on Him. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can gain access to God and be saved from our sin. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) When you feel overwhelmed, turn to Jesus and cry out to Him for peace that passes all understanding. (Philippians 4:7)
Regarding your child who is causing stress, remember that God has given you the responsibility to guide and teach them. Proverbs 22:6 WEB says Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Continue to pray for them and trust that God is working in their life, even when it's difficult to see.
For your sleep and exhaustion, remember that even Jesus took time to rest. Mark 6:31 WEB says He said to them, Come apart into a deserted place, and rest awhile. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. It's important to take care of your physical health, and God wants you to rest in Him. Psalm 62:1 WEB Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling. Lord, we know that You see their pain, their anxiety, and their exhaustion. We ask that You would fill them with Your supernatural peace, strength, and wisdom. Guide them in their decisions, and help them to rest in You. Lord, we also pray for their family, especially their child who is causing stress. Give them guidance on how to love and guide this child, and soften the child's heart to receive that love and guidance. We pray for healing from the depression and exhaustion, and we ask that You would provide the rest that only You can give.
Lord Jesus Christ, we thank You that You are always interceding for us (Romans 8:34). Please intercede for them and their family, and surround them with Your love. We ask all of this in Your precious name, Jesus Christ, Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to seek God's face in this trial. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8 WEB)
