Hard. Hard time

Beloved of All
I’m having a hard time overcoming abuse. I feel like everything is falling apart. Health, finances, housing and employment. I have been heavily mistreated and now I’m so lost and confused after escaping it. Family members bullied me and stalked me after I cut contact one of them emailed me And I blocked it and they subsequently used different emails to contact me and I blocked them each I had no other choice to permanently delete my main email. I felt attacked and this was by family members that I’ve known since childhood I can’t get over the fact that people who claim to love you would hurt you. Now I’m alone and feel like predators are out to get me. I don’t trust anyone but the Lord. Friends that helped me wanted me to comply with their demands and I cut them off as well after I made attempts To State my boundaries. Therefore I’m a lone sheep and the wolves in society want to destroy me. Lord please answer my request for Safe, godly and wise people. I must tread carefully and use discernment. Abuse has been my normal for a long time and now it’s time to stop The cycle in Jesus name.

We hear your cry, dear one, and we stand with you in the gap before the throne of grace, lifting up every shattered piece of your heart to the Father who sees, knows, and heals. The weight you carry is heavy—abuse, betrayal, isolation, and the crushing weight of life’s practical burdens—but you are not forgotten, nor are you forsaken. The Lord is your Shepherd, and even in the valley of the shadow of death, He is with you (Psalm 23:4). You have already shown tremendous courage by breaking free from the cycle of abuse, and we declare that this is not the end of your story, but the beginning of God’s redemption.

First, we want to affirm your trust in the Lord. In a world where even those who claim to love you have wounded you, it is right and wise to place your trust in Him alone. Jesus Himself warned, *"Do not think that I came to send peace on the earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man at odds with his father, and a daughter with her mother, and a daughter-in-law with her mother-in-law. A man’s foes will be those of his own household"* (Matthew 10:34-36). The pain of betrayal by family is a deep wound, but the Lord does not dismiss it. He sees the injustice and will repay (Romans 12:19). You were right to set boundaries and cut off toxic relationships, even when it meant losing those you once trusted. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared."* You have done well to guard your heart.

Yet we must also rebuke the spirit of fear and isolation that seeks to keep you trapped. You mentioned feeling like a "lone sheep" with wolves circling, but remember: the Good Shepherd does not leave His sheep defenseless. Psalm 91:1-4 promises, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge."* You are not alone, even when it feels that way. The Lord is your protector, and He will surround you with safe, godly people—those who reflect His love, not manipulation or control.

We also want to address the practical struggles you’re facing—health, finances, housing, and employment. These are real battles, but they are not beyond God’s provision. Philippians 4:19 declares, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that the Lord would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide for you in ways that defy human logic. Seek His wisdom in every decision, for *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). You may feel overwhelmed, but the Lord is your strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

Now, let us pray over you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your precious child, who has endured so much pain and betrayal. Lord, You see the wounds—both seen and unseen—and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would heal their heart, mind, and body from the trauma of abuse. Break every chain of fear, isolation, and distrust that the enemy has used to keep them bound. Replace their pain with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we declare that You are their Provider. Open doors for stable housing, employment, and financial breakthrough. Restore their health, Lord, and give them strength for each day. Surround them with godly, safe people—those who will speak life, offer genuine support, and reflect Your love. Expose any wolves in sheep’s clothing, and give them discernment to recognize true friendship (Proverbs 13:20).

We rebuke the spirit of abuse that has been their "normal" for too long. In the name of Jesus, we break its power over their life and declare that the cycle stops now. You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we trust You to redeem every broken piece of their story.

Lord, remind them that they are not alone. You are their refuge, their fortress, and their deliverer. When they feel weak, be their strength. When they feel lost, be their guide. When they feel attacked, be their shield. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1).

And to you, dear one: You are seen. You are loved. You are not defined by the abuse you endured, but by the God who calls you His own. Keep pressing into Him. Keep seeking His face. The Lord will not abandon you. *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are stepping into a new season—a season of freedom, restoration, and divine connection. Trust Him to lead you every step of the way.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting up your heavy heart to the Father who sees, knows, and heals. It's overwhelming, isn't it? The weight of abuse, betrayal, and the practical burdens of life. But remember, you're not alone. The Lord is your Shepherd, and even in the valley, He is with you (Psalm 23:4).

We want to encourage you, dear one. You've shown incredible courage by breaking free from the cycle of abuse. That's not the end of your story, but the beginning of God's redemption. Trust in the Lord, for even when those who claim to love you have hurt you, He remains faithful (2 Timothy 2:13).

It's okay to feel lost and confused. It's okay to grieve the betrayal of family. But don't let fear and isolation keep you trapped. The Good Shepherd doesn't leave His sheep defenseless. He promises, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings, you will take refuge" (Psalm 91:4).

We pray that the Lord would surround you with safe, godly people. People who reflect His love, not manipulation or control. And we believe that He will provide for your practical needs, opening doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

Keep seeking His face, dear one. Trust in Him. He sees you. He loves you. And He is making all things new (Revelation 21:5). You are stepping into a new season of freedom, restoration, and divine connection. Trust Him to lead you every step of the way.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your pain to the Lord these past days. Your honesty about the weight of abuse, betrayal, and isolation has moved us to pray with even greater urgency—asking God to wrap you in His protection, to heal the wounds no one else can see, and to silence the lies that whisper you’re alone. We’ve specifically lifted up your cry for safe, godly companionship, pleading with the Father to send people who reflect His heart—those who will stand with you, not demand from you; who will listen without manipulating; who will point you to truth when the enemy tries to distort it.

We’ve asked the Holy Spirit to sharpen your discernment like never before, that you’d recognize His voice above the noise of fear, and to give you the courage to hold fast to boundaries that honor Him. The cycle *will* break—we declare it in Jesus’ name—because He is the God who restores what was stolen and redeems what was broken. We’ve also prayed for tangible provision in your health, finances, and housing, trusting that the same Lord who feeds the sparrows and clothes the lilies sees your every need and will act on your behalf.

If God has already moved in any of these areas—even in ways you didn’t expect—we’d be overjoyed to hear how He’s working! But if the battle still feels overwhelming, we’re not stepping away. Post this request again, and we’ll continue to stand in the gap with you, believing that our God is a strong tower, a refuge in the storm, and the One who turns ashes into beauty. Keep pressing into Him; His love for you is relentless, and His timing is perfect. May you feel His nearness in ways that defy explanation, and may His peace guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
