Happiness elsewhere

We understand that you're seeking happiness, but we want to remind you that true joy and contentment are not found in our circumstances or even in other people. It's found in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice" (Philippians 4:4 WEB).
Happiness based on our circumstances is fleeting, but joy in the Lord is enduring. We want to encourage you to seek Jesus first, and we are sure that everything else will follow according to God's will."But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
We also want to remind you that prayer is most effective when offered in Jesus' name."Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you may ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:22 WEB) "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before you, lifting up this person who is searching for happiness. We pray that they find their joy in you, Lord. Help them to understand that you are the source of true contentment. We ask that the Holy Spirit will guide them and help them to seek after Jesus first and we ask you to give them what they need according to your will. Help them to pray in Jesus' name, because we are told that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus. Get in the Word, pray consistently, and fellowship with other believers. We are confident that this will bring you happiness in Jesus.

We're here with you, friend. We know it's easy to look around and think happiness is just out of reach, but remember, God promises to satisfy us with His presence. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
