GROUNDSHAKING PRAYERS PLEASE

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray that I am safe when I leave home today, for me to have a safe day & for God to bring me back safely aswell. & for God to always keep me safe. Thank you.

We hear your heartfelt plea for safety and protection as you step out today, and we join with you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We stand on this promise, believing that God’s protection surrounds you like a shield.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would go before [] today, clearing every path of danger, harm, or evil intent. Surround [] with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a fortress of safety. Guard every step, every decision, and every moment of this day. Bring [] back home safely, just as You have promised in Your Word. We declare that no weapon formed against [] shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke any plans of the enemy to bring harm. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill []’s heart and mind today (Philippians 4:7).

We also encourage you to walk in faith, knowing that God’s protection is not just for today but for every day of your life. Proverbs 3:23-24 reminds us, "Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet." Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

If there is any area of your life where fear has taken root, we encourage you to surrender it to God. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Replace fear with faith, knowing that God is in control. We pray that you would grow in your relationship with Him, seeking His will and His ways in all things. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Go in the confidence of His protection today and always.

Thank you for reaching out. We hear the weight of your request, and we want you to know that you’re not carrying this alone. We’re holding you in prayer right now, and we take seriously even the simplest-sounding fears about daily safety. Those moments before leaving the house can feel heavy, and bringing them to God is exactly the right thing to do.

We find it helpful to remember that our safety isn’t just a matter of hoping for the best, it’s resting in the watchful care of a God who knows our going out and our coming in. Sometimes when the fear feels loud, we pause before stepping out and speak a quiet word to Him: “Lord, I’m placing this day in Your hands.” It doesn’t make the fear vanish instantly, but it anchors us in something steadier than our own feelings.

As we pray together now, know that we’re asking for God’s covering over every step you take today, and for a deep sense of His nearness that calms the anxious thoughts before they take hold.

Father, thank You that we can come to You with the very real worries we carry. Please guard this dear person as they leave home today, keep them from harm and surround them with Your peace. Let them sense Your presence with them in every ordinary moment, and bring them back home safely at the end of the day. Calm the fears that rise up, and replace them with a quiet trust in Your faithful care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The plea for safety rises from a heart that knows its need of the Almighty’s overshadowing wing. He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust; His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Go forth then, not in a spirit of fear, but in the quiet confidence that the Lord Himself is thy keeper. He that watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and the very hairs of thy head are numbered. Yet while we seek protection for the body, let us not forget the surer safety of the soul. That home to which you desire to return in peace is but a shadow of the eternal home, and the safe passage through the streets is a small thing compared to the safe passage through the gates of glory.

I hear in this request the echo of a deeper cry: the soul’s need to return to its God. The voice of mercy is ever calling, “Return, return, return!” Not with a harsh command, but with a tender entreaty, as a Father welcomes His wandering child. You cannot too soon be safe, and therefore you cannot too soon return from every evil way and rest in the finished work of Christ. Let this day’s journey be a picture of the greater pilgrimage. Hold the things of this world with a loose hand, for birdlime abounds, and the soul is easily snared. Die daily to the fading comforts of earth, and let your true treasure be wrapped up in the righteousness of the Beloved.

As you step over the threshold, cast your care upon Him. He will send such a chariot for His servants as shall be most suitable to them, whether for the passage of a day or for the final transit from time into eternity. Pray for the manna of the day, for daily strength for daily needs, and do not borrow trouble from tomorrow. The Lord knows the winds and the speed at which each shall travel; He who marked out the path of His own Son through the streets of Judea will order your steps. Go in peace, and may the end of the day find you not only returned to your earthly dwelling, but drawn nearer to the heart of your God, who says still, “Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for prayers for your safety as you leave home, and I will indeed join my prayers to yours. But let this request be seasoned with wisdom. Our Lord Himself, when He heard that John was delivered up, withdrew into Galilee, teaching us not to rush needlessly into danger but to exercise prudence and avoid tempting God. The devil is ever crafty, and the narrow way is flanked by precipices; travel it sober and wakeful, full of confidence in Jesus your guide, yet also full of holy fear.

While you cry out for protection, take heed to yourself: do not act rashly, as Gamaliel warned the council, lest you be found fighting against God. True safety is not a magic charm but the fruit of a life entrusted to Him who gave you all you have, a life walking in repentance and faith. I have often said that those who presume on grace while clinging to sin find no easy path, like the leaven purged out so that the feast may be kept in sincerity. Therefore, examine your conscience: if you are at peace with God, then offer your day to Him as the servant who said, "Lord, you gave me these talents," and go forth with thanksgiving.

I will pray that you return home in body, but far more, that your soul may be preserved blameless unto that great day.

Your request for prayer is heard, and I join you in asking the Lord to keep you safe as you go out and come back. He cares about every step you take. But as you ask for protection, let me encourage you to think about where true safety comes from. The world talks a lot about peace and security, yet the Scriptures warn that sudden destruction can come when people least expect it. Real safety is not found in a secure home, a full bank account, or even the strongest walls. It is found in the name of the Lord, which is described as a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe.

God does not want you to walk in fear. He calls His children to return to Him with their whole heart. If you have drifted, if other things have taken His place, if you have put your trust in anything less than the living God, now is the time to turn back. He promises that when we return to Him, He will return to us. He will heal our backslidings and put away everything that stands between us and Him. That is the ground-shaking truth: His mercy can rebuild and restore.

I will pray for your physical safety today. But more than that, I pray that you will know what it is to be hidden in Christ, to have your life settled on the rock of His faithfulness. When your heart is right with Him, you can walk through any danger knowing that nothing can separate you from His love. So yes, ask for daily protection, Jesus taught us to pray, “Deliver us from evil”, but never forget that your eternal safety is already purchased if you belong to Him.

May the Lord bring you back home tonight both physically safe and spiritually stirred to walk closer with Him than ever before.
