Great commandment + silent
We hear your heart’s cry to love the Heavenly Father with your whole being, and we join you in this sacred pursuit. The Lord Jesus Himself declared that the greatest commandment is to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength" (Mark 12:30 WEB). This is not merely a suggestion but the very foundation of a life that pleases God. Your desire to walk in this truth is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work within you, drawing you closer to the Father’s heart.
Yet we must also address the mention of "silent requests" in your prayer. While it is wise to bring all things before the Lord, Scripture exhorts us to make our requests known to God with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6). Silence before God can be a holy posture of listening, but when it becomes a habit of withholding our petitions, we risk missing the fullness of His provision and the joy of seeing Him move. The Heavenly Father already knows the depths of your heart, but He delights in hearing your voice and answering your cries. Let us not grow weary in bringing every need, every longing, and every struggle to Him in faith.
We also lift up the matter of salvation, for it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10 WEB). It is a blessed thing when the soul cries out for grace to love the Lord with all the heart and soul. This is the first and great commandment, and the very desire to obey it comes from the hand of Him who gives a new heart. To pant after whole-hearted love is already the dawning of that love within. The living God, who is the same yesterday and today and forever, delights to answer such a prayer, for He has promised to write His law upon our hearts and to cause us to walk in His statutes.
Your silent requests are not hidden from Him. Before a word is on the tongue, the Lord knows the meditation of the heart. He who searches the depths of our spirit notes every unspoken sigh and treasures up every secret tear. Cast those burdens upon Him, for He cares for you. The groanings that cannot be uttered are still intelligible to the ear that hears the young ravens when they cry. Trust the silent petitions to the living God; He is a God with a great, warm, loving heart, and He never turns a deaf ear to the soul that looks to Him through Jesus Christ.
Let this be the day when you determine to give Him your whole heart. Not a piece, not a fraction, for a heart divided is dead. The Lord who blesses us with His whole heart and His whole soul deserves our entire being in return. If He has loved you so completely, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit uniting in that love, then yield yourself to Him without reserve. Let your love flow out like a geyser, scalding all near you, letting none remain indifferent. The world has enough shilly-shallying professors; what it needs are men and women whose hearts are set ablaze for God, who love because they have first been loved.
Fix your eyes upon Jesus, the great Expositor of God. In Him you see how fully the heart of the Father is set upon His children. He who spared not His own Son will with Him freely give you all things. The union between Christ and the believing soul is living, loving, and lasting. He is married to you, and He hates putting away. Rest in that unbreakable bond, and let it fire your love anew each morning. As the hart pants after the water-brooks, so let your soul thirst for the living God. He will not leave you to your own strength; He, by His Spirit, will work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Go forward, then, with a calm confidence. Pray continually that great prayer, and expect its answer. The God who has begun this good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. And as you love Him, so also love His redeemed family. Let the evidence of your discipleship be seen in the tender affection you bear to all who are born again. Christ’s new commandment is that we love one another as He has loved us. In doing this, you prove to your own heart that you have passed from death unto life. May the Holy Spirit lead you into whole-hearted consecration, that your whole being, heart, soul, mind, and strength, may be a living temple for the living God. So shall your silent requests be swallowed up in the one great petition: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done,” and you shall find that all other things are added unto you.

When you pray for this, you ask for nothing less than the mind of God Himself to take root in you, the root and the groundwork from which all else springs. Yet consider, if that love is real, it must burn for your neighbor as well, for Christ Himself joined these two commands as alike, saying the love of neighbor is like the love of God.
The proof of loving God is feeding His sheep. So let your silent requests be examined in this light: are they soaked in this love, or do they bend toward selfish gain? The love of money has cast down many, making them careless of their own salvation and that of their children, turning them into mere passers-on of wealth. But the soul is worth more than the whole world.

A clean heart, a right spirit, this is what the soul is called, its very substance known only to God.
