Grandson

Ghoerginior

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my grandson who is not from a chrjstian home.Heloves his soccer and school. Home life is not that easy.In Jesus precious name we pray.Amen.

We join you in lifting up your precious grandson before the throne of grace and we thank you for your faithful love and intercession for him. It is a beautiful thing that you are standing in the gap for him, especially as he is growing up in a home that does not yet know Christ. We know that the Lord hears the prayers of a grandmother and that He has a special care for children.

We are encouraged that he has good gifts in his life like his love for soccer and for school. Every good gift is from above and we pray those areas will be places where he finds joy, discipline, and encouragement. We pray also for his home life where things are not easy. The Lord sees what happens behind closed doors and He is close to those who are struggling. Psalm 68:5 tells us He is a father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows. Psalm 27:10 reminds us that even when family may fail us, Yahweh will take us up. We can trust that God sees your grandson right where he is.

We pray that the Lord will draw this young heart to Himself early in life. Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these, Matthew 19:14. We pray that even without a Christian home, the seed of the gospel will be planted in his heart through your witness, through others God places in his path, and through the work of the Holy Spirit. We remember the promise of Proverbs 22:6 to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, and we pray that your prayers and example will be that training for him. We also cling to Jeremiah 29:11 for him, that God has thoughts of peace and not of evil to give him hope and a future.

We lift up his parents and his home as well, that God would bring peace where there is strife, stability where there is difficulty, and that the light of Christ would come into that household. We pray for his protection at school and on the soccer field, that God would surround him with godly influences and faithful friends and keep him from harm, for He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11.

Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12. We thank You for this grandson, for his life, for his gifts, and for the love his grandparent has for him. Lord, we ask that You place Your hand upon him, protect his heart and mind, and let him feel Your presence even when home is difficult. Draw him to Yourself, Lord, reveal Your love to him, and let him come to know Jesus Christ as his own Lord and Savior while he is young. Give him strength and peace in his home, grant him joy in his school and in soccer, and help him to grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with You. We pray You would encourage and strengthen this dear grandparent to continue to pray and to be a shining witness of Your grace and truth to him and to his family. Let Your will be done in his life and let this family come to know You. We trust him into Your loving hands and pray all these things in Jesus name, Amen.

We can hear the love in your request for your grandson. It means a lot that you are holding him before the Lord, especially when his home life is not easy and you cannot always be there to ease it for him.

We are glad he has soccer and school where he finds joy and purpose. Those places can be steady ground for a boy when things at home feel unsettled, and your steady interest in them matters more than you may realize. Just asking about a game or a class and listening well lets him know he is seen and valued.

We will join you in praying for him, and for you as you love him from where you are. One simple way to keep supporting him is to stay that safe, consistent presence, letting him know you are in his corner without putting pressure on him to share more than he is ready to.

Father, we lift this grandson to You in Jesus name. Watch over him at home, at school and on the soccer field. Give him protection, peace and caring adults around him, and draw him gently to know Your love. Give his grandmother wisdom and comfort as she prays and loves him faithfully. Amen.

Your burden for your grandson has been laid before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join you in lifting him up in the precious name of Jesus.

We understand the weight you carry, to love a child who loves his soccer and his school, and yet finds his home life not easy, and who as yet is not brought up under the shelter of a Christian home. This is a tender place for prayer, and a true field for that home mission work which begins nearest to our own hearts. The Lord Jesus Himself went about doing good, and His life was a scene of unrivalled labour for the souls of men, and He calls His people to imitate Him by a kindly sympathy and a patient benevolence toward those nearest to them.

We pray that the Lord will be a Father to this dear boy where earthly comforts may fail. Though his home may not know Christ, our God is able to make His grace known even there. He can plant the germ of eternal life in a young heart, for grace is glory in the bud, and whosoever believes in Jesus has eternal life now. We ask that the Lord will set a hedge about your grandson, guard him in his school and in his play, give him favour with his teachers and companions, and keep his feet from evil.

We pray also that godliness, which is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come, may early take hold upon him. May he come to see in God a Father's love, in Christ a Saviour's power, and in the Spirit the Quickener's life. May the difficulties of his home be overruled to draw him to the One who never fails, who upholds all that fall and who makes a home of peace for the weary soul.

And we pray for you, who intercede for him. May the Lord make you a faithful home missionary to him, eccentric in holy benevolence, rich in Christian sympathy, speaking often of Christ's upholding power and Kingdom, so that your conversation and your prayers may be a well of water to him in a dry place. Continue steadfastly, for the might of the Christian lies not in himself but in the Lord of Hosts, and He hears the cry of those who seek the salvation of their own household.

Together we pray: Our gracious Father, look in mercy upon this grandson. Cover him with Thy protection, comfort him in his home, prosper him in his learning, and in Thy good time bring him to know Jesus Christ as his own Saviour. Let Thy goodness and mercy follow him all the days of his life, and bring him to dwell in Thy house forever. Keep his grandmother also in faith and patience, and let her see fruit from her prayers. In the precious name of Jesus our Lord, Amen.
