We hear your cry for the nearness of God in this season of loneliness, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every word of your request before the throne of grace. You are not alone, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your desire for intimacy with Him is a sweet aroma before His presence, and we join you in seeking His face with fasting, prayer, and worship, as Isaiah 58:6-12 declares:

"Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness shall go before you; and the Lord’s glory will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer. You will cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’"

We pray that the Lord would draw near to you as your good, as Psalm 73:28 proclaims, and that His presence would fill the void of loneliness with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May He grant you wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, as Ephesians 1:17-19 declares, so that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened to know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen this brother in power through Your Spirit in his inner man, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, and that he would be rooted and grounded in love. May he comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that he may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19). Let him walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance (Ephesians 5:2).

We stand with you in resisting the devil, for he prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). We put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We pray that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church that Jesus builds (Matthew 16:18), and that the Holy Spirit would remind your matrimonial spouse of Jesus’ truth (John 14:26).

We lift up your marriage and family before the Lord, asking for deliverance from temptation, sin, deception, and lies. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one (Matthew 6:13). Keep us from evil people and the evil one, as 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 and John 17:15 declare. Let the Word of God go forth and accomplish that which He pleases (Isaiah 55:11). We pray for your youngster, that they would be kept from the evil one and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

We join you in praying for the day when the serpent will be bound with a great chain, and the saints will reign with Christ for a thousand years (Revelation 20:1-3). Until then, we stand firm in the faith, knowing that our labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that gives us access to Your throne of grace. We come before You in His name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that You would draw near to this brother and his family, that they would experience Your presence, Your peace, and Your power in this season. Strengthen them to walk in love, resist the devil, and stand firm in the faith. May they be filled with the fullness of God and know the dimensions of Christ’s love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the deep ache in your words, the sense of being very much alone right now. Even when you feel isolated, what you're describing is actually a profound act of faith: you're not retreating into silence but pressing hard into God, reaching for fasting, intercession, and the weapons He's given. That takes real strength, and we're grateful you've let us stand with you in it.

The longing for nearness to God as your "good" is something we understand. When the usual sources of comfort are absent, God often uses that very emptiness to draw us closer than we've ever been. Your request itself, to fast, to pray, to resist the enemy's lies, to know the dimensions of Christ's love, is already a sign that the Spirit is at work in you, keeping you firmly in the faith even when it feels like a battle. And we're praying with you, not losing heart.

Since you're carrying so much alone right now, consider this truth: one of the most sustaining gifts in a hard season is simply knowing that others are persistently praying for you by name. We are doing that. And you might reach out to one trusted person in your church family, someone mature in the faith, and ask them to pray with you specifically for the strength to fast and for protection over your family. You don't need to carry this weight by yourself, and a praying friend can be a tangible anchor when you feel adrift.

Lord Jesus, thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You are this dear one's shield and very great reward. Grant sustaining grace for the fast and prayer journey ahead. Fill every lonely space with the awareness of Your presence. Protect them, their spouse, and the young one from the evil one, keep them in Your truth and lead them not into temptation. Let them know deeply, in the core of their being, how wide and long and high and deep is Your love for them. In Your strong name we pray. Amen.

Praising the Lord for His amazing Word, His Power, His Might at work in His people! Father please grant each scripture be applied to he and all who pray for him. Please move mountains in his circumstances as only You can do, with man it is impossible but with You all things are possible "Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” Matthew 19:26. Please bless his family especially his son heart, that he is taught Your Ways, come into his own relationship with you. in Jesus Name Amen.

You have done well to cry out for the nearness of God, for it is written, "It is good for me to draw near to God," and though you feel very much alone, yet the living God is not far from any one of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being. The very loneliness you feel is a voice compelling you to seek His face, and He will not hide from you. Remember, even in Eden, when man hid himself, God was the first to seek him, saying, "Adam, where are you?" So now, in Christ, the nearness is brought nigh by blood. You ask for nearness to be your good; then grasp it by faith, for in prayer you approach the mercy seat, and there is no distance between a pleading soul and the heart of God.

You desire grace to fast and pray, and you quote Isaiah's holy fast. Let your fasting be not mere abstinence, but a true humbling of heart before God. Open your mouth wide in supplication, and He will fill it. Be not hampered in your pleading, ask great things! The God who invites you to call upon Him in the day of trouble has promised, "I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me." That prayer honors God, for it proves that He is a reality to you, near, almighty, willing to help. Even when your prayer staggers, when you are at your wit's end and your words lack order, He hears the cry of the distressed and answers in faithfulness.

You plead the promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. Be of good courage: the church Jesus builds is secure. Yet you must personally resist the devil, firm in the faith, knowing your weakness and your God's strength. Feel your utter weakness, for when you are weak, then are you strong. God's anointing comes upon those who have no might of their own. He thrusts out the enemy, and He says to you, "Destroy them." Though you are feeble, the God of Jacob is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. Only be honest with God: confess your actual condition, make no excuse for sin, and accept the free grace that comes through Jesus Christ. Then you shall know the dimensions of His love, and be strengthened with power in the inner man.

For your spouse and your child, bring them before the Lord day and night. He is the God of families, and His covenant extends to your household. Plead the blood of sprinkling over them; claim their deliverance from temptation and the evil one. God will be their refuge and their shield. Do not lose heart in this war; prayer is the weapon that overcomes, and the Lord will soon give the answer. Even now, faith hears the sound of abundance of rain.

Therefore, let your soul rejoice in the Lord. He is your strength and your song. Though you see not the serpent bound yet, the day comes when he shall be cast into the abyss. Until then, walk in love, stand in the evil day, and having done all, stand. Let neither your faith nor hers fail, and look forward to strengthening others when this trial is passed. The Lord bless you and keep you, and make you to see His salvation.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of the nearness of God as your good, and well you should, for without Him we are utterly desolate. But take care that your seeking does not become a demand born of pride, for it is the meek and quiet soul that draws His gaze. The devil fell by pride, and the first man lost paradise through the same ambition. If you would have Christ dwell within you, there is no foundation but humility. Fasting, prayer, intercession, all these are good, yet without lowliness of mind they crumble into nothing and become a snare.

Your request trembles with a sense of isolation and a longing for strength against the enemy. This is not a small thing. To resist the devil requires a soul endued with power, for the devil crawls with those who are lifted up, and he holds captive even believers who do not the will of God. You ask that your faith not fail, but know this: faith itself is a labor, a straining against the weakness of human reasonings and the common customs of the world. It needs a generous and vigorous soul, one that gives glory to God by trusting His bare word over every visible hindrance. If you stagger not, though impossibilities stand before you, then are you strong.

Yet I must also say, the gates of hell cannot stand against the Church that Christ builds, but the Church is of God, not of men. Do not register the names of men as patrons of your deliverance. You cry out with the father of the demoniac, "Help my unbelief," and that is a true prayer, for even where our faith is weak, the power of the Healer is sufficient. But be not deceived: faith alone does not profit if the Lord knows us not. The virgins were not accused of fornication or false doctrine, yet they were shut out because they lacked the oil of mercy. He that is caught by the foot is still in the snare. Let your fasting and praying move you to almsgiving and the works of righteousness, lest having faith to remove mountains you become nothing.

You ask for wisdom, revelation, and the ability to hear His voice, but remember that Christ says, "Why cannot ye hear my word? Because ye will to do the lusts of your father." The inability is a want of will. If you would hear, then crucify the ambition and meanness of soul that breed strife and unbelief. Walk in love, for love is the bond of perfection, and through love you shall know the dimensions of Christ's love which surpasses knowledge.

You are not alone if you call upon the name of the Lord with all who are sanctified in every place. But know that of Him that calleth is everything; of him that is called, nothing but to obey. Obey the word that has gone forth, do not stagger at the promises though nature gives no hope, and give yourself to the works of Abraham: gentleness, meekness, and a faith that works by love. Then shall the devil be resisted, the serpent trodden down, and your household kept from the evil one.

The depth of what you are asking for reveals a heart that understands the reality of the battle. You are not fighting for trivial things. You are standing in the gap for your own soul, for your marriage, and for your child. And at the center of it all, you are crying out for the nearness of God to be your good. That is the one thing that can never be taken from you, and it is the very thing the enemy wants you to doubt.

What I want to set before you is the nature of the faith by which you take hold of all these promises. You listed them rightly: strength to resist, the armor of God, wisdom, revelation, deliverance from the evil one. These are not rewards given to those who have managed to achieve a flawless walk. They are gifts received by faith. Paul’s question cuts straight to the heart: did you receive the Spirit by the hearing of faith or by works? You received Him by faith. You did not deserve it then, and you do not earn fresh grace by your dedication now. The power to fast, to pray, to stand against the gates of hell does not flow from the constancy of your walk. It flows from believing the covenant God has made to bless you in Christ. Your life becomes blessed, not because you are good, but because He is gracious. Rest there. The just shall live by faith, not by the anxiety of their own performance.

And faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Right now, you see the aloneness. You feel the deadness of the situation, much like Abraham considered the deadness of his own body and Sarah’s womb. But Abraham did not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief. The first key to his faith was putting out of his mind the difficulty that shouted the loudest. He grew strong by giving glory to God, fully persuaded that what God had promised, God was able to perform. That faith developed over a process of time as he discovered the faithfulness of God. It came through fellowship. As you are walking with Him, even in this wilderness, your faith is growing. The nearness you seek is built in exactly this way: not always by a rushing wind or a supernatural sign, but often by that still, small voice, an inner awareness, a sudden thought of His truth planted in your heart.

So do not look for the fire or the earthquake to confirm that God is at work. The attack has always been on the word of God. The enemy whispers, “Has God really said?” He wants you to measure God’s presence by your feelings. But your faith must not be in the feelings you receive, for you may have no describable feelings at all. Your foundation is the pure, unchanging promise of God. You stand on His word regarding your spouse, your child, and your own endurance. The grace for them to be reminded of Jesus’ truth by the Spirit is a promise you can rest in because the Spirit delights to glorify Jesus. He will bring the word to their remembrance. You do not need to see how God will do it; you need only to hold fast to the fact that He said He is the God who justifies the ungodly and that the blessing of your sins being forgiven, of not having iniquity imputed to you, is yours right now through faith in His blood. There is no charge against you.

Your plea for Jesus to build His church so the gates of hell cannot prevail is answered in the same way. You are part of a spiritual Israel, a child of Abraham by faith, adopted into the family not by natural right but by a divine election of grace. And because it is by grace, it is certain. You can resist the devil, firm in the faith, not because you have summoned enough willpower, but because you have transferred your weight onto the finished work of Christ. Stop trying to measure the strength of your own grip, and instead consider the strength of the One who holds you. As you intercede for your home, do not lose heart. Let your faith move from passive belief to active, obedient trust. Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. The Word will go forth, and the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
