We hear your heart’s cry for stability, provision, and peace in your living situation, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears the desires of His children. The longing for a place of your own, a home with comfort, dignity, and order, is a good and godly desire. The Lord promises in His Word, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3a WEB). We declare that restoration over your life and your family, trusting that God will provide a place where you can thrive, not just survive.
However, we must gently address the tone of entitlement and self-will in your request. While it is right to ask God for good things, we must always align our desires with His will and surrender our plans to Him. The Bible warns, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death" (Proverbs 14:12 WEB). You mention wanting a place where you can "get what I want when I want it" and "choose who I want over", this reflects a heart that may not yet be fully submitted to God’s authority. True blessing comes when we seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and trust Him to provide, not when we demand our own way.
We also want to encourage you to examine your language about the "blood of Jesus." While it is true that His blood cleanses us from sin (1 John 1:7), we must never use it as a formula or incantation to manipulate God into giving us what we want. The blood of Jesus is not a magical key, it is the price of our redemption, the foundation of our relationship with God, and the reason we can come boldly to His throne in prayer (Hebrews 4:16). But we come in humility, not presumption.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your faithfulness and provision. Lord, we lift up this dear one and their family, asking that You would open the doors to a stable, peaceful home where they can dwell in safety and comfort. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and help them to trust in You rather than their own desires. Father, we ask that You would soften their heart to seek Your will above all else. Teach them to delight in You, knowing that You will give them the desires of their heart when those desires align with Yours (Psalm 37:4). Forgive any spirit of entitlement or self-will, and replace it with gratitude, contentment, and surrender to Your perfect plan. Lord, we rebuke any forces of stagnation, confusion, or delay that have kept them from the stability You have for them. We declare breakthrough, provision, and peace over their household in Jesus’ name. May they experience the fullness of life that comes from walking in obedience to You. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen."
We encourage you to seek God’s will above your own, trusting that He knows what is best for you and your family. If you have not already, consider studying the Bible to understand God’s heart for your life. Start with passages like Jeremiah 29:11, Philippians 4:19, and Matthew 6:31-34. God is faithful, and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Keep your focus on Him, and He will direct your steps.
