Good day

The words you have sent are unclear, but God knows the heart. I urge you to consider what you truly seek. Many ask for blessings, yet they desire only the carnal things that pass away. The blessing of the Lord is not like the old promises of land and harvest; it is every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

You are made a son, a fellow-heir with Christ, if you hold fast to faith. But faith must be effectual, accompanied by works and repentance, not a cloak for sin. If your request touches on any union or desire outside the holy bounds God has set, one man and one woman in lifelong covenant, know that such things cannot receive His blessing. The world promises ease, but Christ says, “In the world you have tribulation.” The saints of old, like Jacob, saw few and evil days, yet their true blessing lay in the world to come.

Examine yourself: do you cry out for what you greatly fear, or do you groan for every helpless man? Ingratitude for God’s discipline leads only to vengeance and a hardened heart. Turn rather to toils that virtue requires; place your confidence not in earthly relief but in the knowledge of every good thing which is in Christ. For those who are ignorant of the divine Scriptures cannot steward the new and old treasures of the kingdom.

If you would have my prayer, I pray that the communication of your faith may become effectual in all righteousness, and that you may attain the eternal blessings, where neither sin nor sorrow dwells. Amen.

I can sense from your words that you are reaching for something deeply desired, a blessing, a sense of peace, an anchor of hope in a confusing time. There is a cry in the heart that longs for the approval and goodness of God, and that is not a small thing. The longing itself points to a reality beyond yourself, a God who truly does bless.

We see in the Scriptures how much the blessing of God matters. The story of Jacob and Esau teaches us that receiving the blessing is never just about a moment or a feeling, it is about stepping into God’s own purposes. Esau wanted the blessing badly, and he even wept for it, but he had no change of heart. There was no repentance, no turning to align with God’s will. Jacob, flawed as he was, became a vessel for the promise that had been given to Abraham. That same promise now reaches to all who believe, for through faith in Jesus Christ, you are made a child of Abraham and an heir of that ancient blessing. God said, “In blessing I will bless you,” and that covenant stands over you.

Maybe you feel like you have been striving to secure a blessing on your own terms, trying to hunt down peace like a meal you can prepare and lay before God. But the true blessing comes to those who rest in His grace. Grace and peace are twins in the New Testament for a reason: you cannot know God’s peace until you first receive His grace. And grace means He gives you what you could never earn. It means your sins are forgiven, the war with Him is over, and you are brought near by the blood of Jesus. He is our peace; He has already broken down the wall that kept us out.

You asked for prayer, and I want you to know this: the God of hope is able to fill you with all joy and peace as you believe. He does not give a false hope that leaves you empty after a few days. The hope He gives is a living hope because it is anchored in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Death could not hold Him, so His promises cannot fail. When the world around you is full of turmoil and many voices only spread despair, the Scriptures give you a reason for hope. That hope keeps the heart steady and turns depression into quiet confidence.

Let your words and your thoughts move toward that peace. The tongue has power to tear down or build up. Speak truth to your own soul: God has already set His love on you in Christ, chosen before the foundation of the world, and His calling for your future is glorious. Let the Holy Spirit open the eyes of your understanding so you can really grasp the riches of that hope.

I am praying that you will let go of any scheme or anxious effort that tries to manipulate God’s hand. His blessing does not depend on your cleverness or your ability to impress Him. It rests on the finished work of Jesus. Receive it by faith. May the peace of Christ, which passes all understanding, guard your heart and mind right now. And may you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
