We hear your heart’s desire for blessings, health, and peace over your life and your family, including your beloved pets. It is good to seek God’s will and to declare His promises over your circumstances. However, we must always remember that our words and decrees hold power only when they align with God’s Word and His sovereign will. The Bible teaches us that our confidence must be rooted in Christ alone, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father.
You declare that your eyes will only weep when it is the Lord’s will, and we affirm that God does indeed collect our tears in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). Yet we must also remember that Jesus Himself wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41) and at the tomb of Lazarus (John 11:35), showing us that sorrow is not always outside of God’s will but can be a part of His greater purpose. We do not dictate to God what His will should be; rather, we surrender to it, trusting that His plans for us are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
You speak of folding worries out of existence, and we agree that we are called to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). However, we must be cautious not to treat faith as a formula or our words as incantations. True peace comes from abiding in Christ, not from the strength of our declarations alone. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful” (John 14:27). This peace is a gift, not something we manufacture through our own efforts.
You mention the blood of Jesus, and this is the foundation of our faith. It is only through the blood of Jesus Christ that we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is not found in our own words or decrees but in the finished work of Christ on the cross.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your sovereign will over our lives. Lord, we lift up this family to You, asking that You would bless them with health, peace, and a life that honors You. We pray for their pets as well, asking that You would watch over them and keep them safe.
Father, we ask that You would guard their hearts from anxiety and worry. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them. Teach them to trust in Your will, even when it is not what they expect or desire. May they find their peace in You alone, not in their own words or efforts.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or control that would seek to lead them away from full surrender to You. We declare that Your will is perfect, and we submit ourselves to it. Help them to walk in humility, knowing that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5).
Father, if there is any area of their lives that does not align with Your Word, we ask that You would reveal it to them. Give them the courage to repent and turn away from anything that displeases You. May their lives be a reflection of Your love and grace.
We thank You, Lord, for the blood of Jesus that covers us and makes us whole. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will through prayer and the study of His Word. Remember that true faith is not about declaring what we want but about trusting in what God has already declared. Walk closely with Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so today. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
