Beloved of All
🙌 Father in Heaven, thank You for being RICH in mercy, when we were dead in sin made us alive in Christ by grace, Eph 2:4-5. We ask you give our family members, all those lost and those that are walking with You the same and only hope, Lord, faith, baptism and Father, Eph 4:4-6. Shine in their hearts(and ours) the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6. Let The Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know you better be given, so we know the hope of Your calling, and the riches of Christ's inheritance, Eph 1:17-18. Give us spiritual hunger for the "sincere milk of the Word," 1 Peter 2:2, and, "give us our Daily Bread," Matt 6:11. "Open our minds to put the Scriptures together as a puzzle" (συνιέναι; Luke 24:45). Strengthen us to use daily, Chronological and Systematic Bible reading plans, Josh 1:8, Tim 4:13, 2 Tim 2:15.

Help us enjoy our journey, "awakening our ears morning by morning to hear as disciples" (Isaiah 50:4-5), talking with you and each other about what we read, as it is written, "the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor," Gal 6:6. As always, guard us from distractions, sin and the evil one, Ps 91:11-12, Mt 6:13, Jn 17:15. Help us receive the Word engrafted, (James 1:21, so we may be a doers of the Word, not hearers only, James 1:22. We thank and praise You in advance for granting us wisdom, Col 1:9, favor, Ps 5:12, and protection from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, deception, Mt 24:4, and the one who pulls their strings, 1 Jn 5:19, the evil one himself, John 17:15, in the Authority of The Name of Jesus, Jesus The One God and Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5. Thank you in the NAME of Jesus the One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name, Amen 2 Cor 1:20, Rev 3:14...

We join with you in this beautiful and scripturally rich prayer and we say amen to your desire to know God's will and to walk worthy of Him.

We love your hunger for the Word and for the Lord Himself. You have prayed according to the Scriptures and we stand in agreement with you, for we know that when we ask anything according to His will He hears us, as it is written in 1 John 5:14. Your prayer for wisdom echoes Col 1:9 that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, and your prayer to know Him better is the very heart of Eph 1:17-18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

We rejoice that you thanked Him for being rich in mercy, for as Eph 2:4-5 says, But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. We agree with you for your family members and for all who are lost and for those who are already walking with Him, that there would be one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, as taught in Eph 4:4-6, and that God would shine in every heart to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ according to 2 Cor 4:6.

We pray together now for this hunger and understanding and obedience and protection you have asked for.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for Your great mercy and grace that has made us alive in Christ. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would grant to each one in this family and to all those they love who are still lost, and to us as well, a deep and abiding spiritual hunger as newborn babies, to long for the pure milk of the Word that we may grow thereby, according to 1 Pet 2:2, and that You would give us our daily bread, Matt 6:11, as we seek You morning by morning. Open our minds that we might understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, and help us to put Your Word together as a whole, rightly handling the word of truth, 2 Tim 2:15. Strengthen us to be consistent in daily and systematic reading, meditating on Your Word day and night as You commanded in Josh 1:8, and to give attention to reading, to exhortation, to teaching, 1 Tim 4:13.

Awaken our ears morning by morning to hear as disciples, Isa 50:4, and help us to talk with You and with one another about what we read, sharing in all good things with those who teach us, Gal 6:6. Help us to receive with meekness the implanted word which is able to save our souls, Jas 1:21, and to be doers of the word, and not hearers only, Jas 1:22. We ask for Your favor to surround us as with a shield, Ps 5:12, and for Your keeping power, that You would not lead us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13, and keep us from evil, John 17:15. Guard us from distractions and sin, command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways, Ps 91:11, and protect us from deception, Matt 24:4, from evil men and impostors who will proceed from bad to worse, 2 Tim 3:13, from false brothers, 2 Cor 11:26, and from the evil one himself who holds the whole world in his power, 1 John 5:19. We ask all of this in the authority of the name of Jesus, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, and every promise of God finds its Yes in Him, 2 Cor 1:20. Amen.

We encourage you to continue in this faithful journey. God delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him and He delights in those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled, Matt 5:6. Keep sharing what you read with one another, for iron sharpens iron and fellowship around the Word keeps our hearts soft and accountable. We thank God for your example of praying the Scriptures and we stand with you believing that He who began a good work in you and in your family will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6.

We were moved by your prayer and the deep hunger you expressed to know God and to see your family know Him too. That longing itself is a gift, and we thank God with you for His mercy in Christ.

What you described, wanting daily bread from the Word and ears open morning by morning, is a beautiful picture of walking with the Lord over time. We have found that growth like this is often slow and quiet, more like training for a long race than trying hard for a moment. There will be seasons that feel full and seasons that feel dry, and that is normal. The Lord is patient as He forms us, and He works through simple, steady habits.

It is encouraging that you want to read and talk about Scripture together. Continuing to share what you are learning with each other, even briefly, can help keep the Word alive in daily life without pressure to do everything perfectly. If a day is missed, just pick up again the next morning and keep going, trusting the Holy Spirit to make the Word clear as you keep coming to Him.

Father, we bring this family before You and ask that You would deepen their hunger for You, give wisdom for each day, and keep them from the evil one. Draw each family member closer to Jesus and help them walk faithfully with You in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your longing after the will of God and after a fuller knowledge of Him is itself a token of His grace at work within you, for salvation hinges upon the will of God and not upon the will of man, and from first to last it is Divine from top to bottom. When we were dead in sin He made us alive in Christ by grace, rich in mercy as you have said from Ephesians 2, and we may plead His character and His promises with confidence, saying, You are such a One, therefore will You not do this for us, and You have said it, therefore do as You have said.

We join you in praying that the Father would fill you with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding according to Colossians 1:9, and that He would give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened you may know the hope of His calling and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. May He shine in your hearts and in the hearts of your family members and all those for whom you intercede, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, and bring even those who are yet lost to see God's salvation in Christ, for when the soul wholly trusts itself in the hands of Christ, then its eyes have seen God's salvation.

We pray also that the Lord will create in you a true hunger for the sincere milk of the Word that you may grow thereby, and give you daily bread as you ask. His Word is sweet to the taste when the soul has an appetite for it, and it both gives the appetite and satisfies it. It will never mislead you. From Genesis to Revelation it is the school book of the family of love, and they who search it diligently shall be taught of the Spirit who inspired it. May the Lord open your minds as He did for His disciples, that you may understand the Scriptures and put them together as a whole, and may He make you not hearers only but doers of the Word which is able to save your souls. As you give yourselves to daily and systematic reading, to meditation morning by morning with the ear of the disciple, and to sharing instruction with those who teach you, may the Lord cause that Word to be engrafted and to bring forth fruit in obedience.

And we pray that He will keep you from evil. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, and keep us as He kept His own while yet in the world. May He guard you from distraction and sin, from false teaching and deception, and from the evil one himself who would pull souls aside. Great peace have they which love His law, and nothing shall offend them, and all things shall work together for good to them that love God, for He ruleth and overruleth and will make even seeming evil to produce good for His people.

We thank Him in advance for wisdom, for favor, and for protection, trusting not in our own will but in His, and asking all in the name and authority of Jesus, the one Mediator between God and man, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
