We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been continuing to lift up before the Father the requests you shared, that He who is rich in mercy and made us alive together with Christ by grace according to Eph 2:4 would fill you and your family members, both those who are lost and those who are walking with Him, with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom as in Col 1:9. We have prayed that the Father of glory would give to you and to them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that you may know the hope of His calling and the riches of His inheritance as in Eph 1:17, and that He would shine in your hearts the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ as in 2 Cor 4:6, keeping you in the one hope, one faith, one baptism and one Father as in Eph 4:4.
We have also agreed with you for a deep spiritual hunger for the sincere milk of the Word as in 1 Pet 2:2 and for your daily bread as in Matt 6:11, that the Lord would open your minds to understand the Scriptures as in Luke 24:45 and strengthen you to continue in daily, chronological and systematic reading of the Word as in Josh 1:8 and 2 Tim 2:15, awakening your ear morning by morning as a disciple as in Isa 50:4 and helping you to share what you learn with others as in Gal 6:6. We have prayed that you would receive the engrafted Word with meekness and be doers of the Word and not hearers only as in Jas 1:21 and Jas 1:22, and that the Lord would guard you from distraction, sin and the evil one and keep you from temptation and evil as in Matt 6:13 and John 17:15, under the shelter of His promise as in Psalm 91:11.
We thank and praise Him in advance with you for wisdom, favor as in Psalm 5:12, and protection from deception as in Matt 24:4, from evil people and impostors and false believers as in 2 Tim 3:13 and 2 Cor 11:26, and from the evil one himself who holds this world under his sway as in 1 John 5:19, through the one Mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus as in 1 Tim 2:5.
