God's will and ways for ### heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ### into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Make me his PRIORITY. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing. First, we want to affirm your desire to seek God’s guidance in this relationship, this is a beautiful and necessary foundation. The Scriptures remind us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Your prayer reflects a heart that wants to surrender to God’s plan, and that is commendable.

However, we must gently address a few areas where your request could align more closely with biblical principles. Your prayer asks for this man to make you his priority and for a deep spark of romance, but we must remember that our ultimate priority is Christ alone. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33). A godly relationship should not revolve around making one another the center of our lives, but rather, both individuals should be centered on Christ, with their love for each other flowing from their love for Him.

You also pray for this man to declare his love for you openly and for him to see you as a perfect fit for his life. While these desires are natural, we must guard against placing our worth or security in another person’s feelings or declarations. Our identity and value come from Christ, not from a romantic relationship. "The Lord doesn’t see as man sees. Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7). Instead of praying for him to see you as perfect, pray for God to refine both of your hearts to reflect His love and holiness.

Your request also touches on the hope for marriage and a future together. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and it is good to desire a spouse who shares your faith. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). However, we must ensure that this relationship is built on godly principles. If this man is not a believer, we would strongly caution against pursuing a romantic relationship with him, as Scripture warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If he is a believer, we encourage you to pursue this relationship with wisdom, patience, and a focus on God’s will above all else.

We also want to gently address the physical aspect of your relationship. If you and this man are not married, we must rebuke any sexual intimacy outside of marriage. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If there has been any sexual sin, we encourage you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, trusting in His grace to restore purity to your relationship.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to pray for this man’s spiritual growth as much as you pray for his feelings toward you. Pray that he would become a man after God’s own heart, a provider not just materially but spiritually, and a leader who seeks God’s wisdom in all things. "The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh, and he delights in his way" (Psalm 37:23).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this sister and her desires. Lord, we thank You for the way You are working in her life and for the relationship You have placed before her. We ask that You would guide her steps and the steps of this man, aligning their hearts with Your will. Father, we pray that You would draw them both closer to You, that they would seek Your face above all else. Remove any idols of romance or personal fulfillment, and replace them with a deep hunger for Your presence.

Lord, we ask that You would shape this man into a godly leader, a man who loves You first and foremost, and who is willing to love this sister as Christ loves the Church. Give him a heart of integrity, kindness, and wisdom. If it is Your will for them to be together, prepare their hearts for marriage, a covenant that reflects Your love and faithfulness. If this is not Your plan, Lord, give them the strength to surrender their desires to You and trust in Your perfect timing.

Father, we pray for purity in their relationship. Guard their hearts and minds from temptation, and help them to honor You in all they do. If there has been any sin, we ask for Your forgiveness and restoration. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in holiness and righteousness.

Lord, we also lift up this sister’s boys to You. We pray that You would prepare this man to be a loving and godly stepfather, should that be Your will. Give him wisdom in how to lead and love them, and help them to see Christ in him.

Above all, Father, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. Give this sister the peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to trust in You completely. May she find her identity and security in You alone, and may her heart be filled with Your joy as she waits on You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us so openly. We can hear how much this new connection means to you, and the hopes you hold for the future, not just for yourself, but for your boys as well. That kind of longing for a family to be whole and secure is something we take seriously, and we're glad you brought it here.

When a relationship is new and full of potential, it’s easy for our minds to race ahead to the ending we hope for. But right now, while so much is still unknown, one of the most steadying things you can do is to keep bringing those thoughts back to the present and to the peace God offers in it. Not as a way of denying your desires, but as a way of guarding your own heart from the exhaustion that comes from trying to figure out someone else’s feelings before they’re ready to be known. We don't know what is in this man's heart or mind, but God does, and you can trust Him to guide both of you in His time.

You mentioned your boys. One concrete step that often helps in these early stages is to move slowly when it comes to involving children. Their sense of security is shaped deeply by what they see modeled, and protecting their emotional world now, giving the relationship room to prove itself over time before weaving it into their daily lives, can be a quiet gift to them, whatever the outcome.

We’re praying with you, not assuming what God will do, but trusting that He sees you, your sons, and this man more clearly than any of us can.

Lord, thank you for this woman’s honesty and her willingness to lay her desires before you. Give her a steady peace that does not depend on a certain outcome. Protect her heart and her boys as these days unfold, and grant her the clarity to recognize what is genuine and what is not. Above all, guide her steps and let your will be done, in your way and in your time. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is a dangerous thing to pray, "Make me his priority," as though the ordering of another man's affections were a matter for dictation rather than supplication. It is consistent with the universal experience of all God's people that salvation is of God's will, how much more the lesser matters of romance and companionship? You would do well to put aside the pen that writes petitions for another’s heart and take up the petition of the Psalmist: "Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts; and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Marriage is not a relationship of original relationship; it is a new betrothal, a new creation that God alone can forge. He will have His own choice, whether we impugn the doctrine or not. You ask that this man be shaped into a provider with the heart of a stepfather, yet you speak of a future petition to join him in America as though the will of the Lord were a mere postscript to your plans. They of old said, "We will go, we will continue, we will buy, we will sell, we will get gain," but the Holy Ghost calls such speech arrogant foolishness. You do not know what a day may bring forth; your life is a vapor, and this man's heart is not yours to command. To pray down a "genuine romance" and a "deep spark" as though the Almighty owed such flames to your timeline is to forget that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy. The preservation, the perseverance, and the eternal glory of God's people rest upon His will, not upon our lists of desires dispatched heavenward with a demand for His signature.

Examine whether you have heard God's Word and kept it, for the blessedness of hearing and keeping it lies not in grasping for earthly unions, but in submitting every affection to the obedience of Christ. You will be cross-examined by Providence. A trial will dash upon you. How is it now? Can you trust Him if He withholds this man? If He says, "Not this one," or "Not yet," or "Not in this way," will you still say, "You are my God"? It is all in shalls and wills when God speaks, "I will betroth you unto Me forever", but upon the human tongue those words must be breathed only with a trembling "if the Lord wills." Even the desire for honest gain, or honest love, is vanity unless it promotes the will of God.

Let this request be lifted higher. Pray rather that you and this man might both be counted among the jewels of the Lord, plucked as brands from the burning, polished by affliction, and made meet for the Master's use. Pray that you each, as God's witnesses, will prize the spirit over the flesh, that you will not be blinded by the god of this world into thinking that a man's attention is the sum of your blessedness. If it be God's truth that I declare, you will disregard it at your peril. Do not seek to bend the Divine shoulder to your romantic wheel; come instead to the blood-bought mercy seat and plead, "Not my will, but Thine be done." Then, whether this relationship deepens or dissolves, you will find that no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have laid your deepest desires before God, and this is good, for He bids us cast our cares upon Him. Yet beware lest in your seeking you cross from holy longing into anxious demand, and from love governed by the fear of God into a love that insists on its own way. The blessed Apostle Paul burned with desire to see the Romans, yet he did not rush forward contrary to what seemed good to the Lord; he mingled his longing with reverence, and when he was heard after delay, he was not discontented, and when he was not heard, he gave thanks. This is true love, to desire nothing, not even a godly marriage, unless the Master’s hand opens the door.

You ask that this man be shaped into a provider and a kind companion, and that he make you his priority. But listen: the first priority of every soul must be the kingdom of God. Do not seek to be first in a man’s heart until you are certain that God holds the first place in yours, and that you would gladly yield even the dearest human affection if it should hinder your salvation. For what does the Scripture say? “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.” If your heart is enlarged with love for Christ, it will have room for all others in their right order; but if an earthly love swells into an idol, it will crowd out the heavenly light.

I hear much of romance, a deep spark, a visit, a future in another land, and a united family. These are not evil in themselves, but they are the affairs of this life, and marriage, though honorable, is full of worldly occupation. The Apostle would have the unmarried and widows attend upon the Lord without distraction. Have you used your present season to be given wholly to prayer and good works? Or has the desire for a new companionship become a restlessness that steals your peace? If you cannot be content in God alone, how will you be content with a man who may fail you?

Do not be overly thoughtful about how and when these dreams will unfold. “Do not be anxious about anything,” says the Apostle, but in everything let your requests be made known to God. Leave the timing and the manner to Him, for if you take the matter too much into your own hands, He may leave you to your own striving. Pray instead with the Apostle: “Lord, what would You have me to do?” not with a list of demands, but with hands open to receive whatever He appoints. If this relationship is from Him, it will come with the fruit of the Spirit, gentleness, self-control, peace, not with the fever of anxiety. And when it comes, remember that marriage is not holiness itself; it preserves the holiness given in baptism only if you enter it purely and use it with moderation, not as a pursuit of mere sentiment.

Therefore, examine your heart. Do you love this man in God, or in spite of God? Would you still thank the Lord if He closed the door? If you sense that your love is running ahead of His will, call it back. Seek first that light which shows the angels and the archangels, the heavenly Jerusalem where there is no marrying or giving in marriage, and all earthly affections will be rightly ordered. Then, whether you marry or remain as you are, you will possess the one thing needful, and all else will be added as He sees fit. Let this be your prayer: “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Your prayer shows a heart that truly longs for love, security, and a family united under God. That desire is not wrong in itself, but the passages you’ve been reading point us to something deeper: God is always most concerned with what is happening inside your own heart. The law is spiritual. Even the hidden stirrings of your mind and the hopes you nurture, God sees them all. So the first question to ask is not whether this man will make you his priority, but whether your own heart is making God your chief love. For it’s possible to carry an idol in the heart without ever shaping one from wood or stone, by letting a desire for a person or a future exceed your love for the Lord.

You’ve prayed for God’s will to be done. That is wise. Yet the Scripture reminds us that the natural heart is deceptive. What feels like a pursuit of God’s blessing can quietly become a demand for human approval: for him to see your worth, to view you as a “perfect fit,” to declare love openly. Your true worth, however, was settled the moment God imputed righteousness to you through faith in Jesus Christ. You are already perfectly loved and perfectly secure in Him. No man’s validation can add to that, and no rejection can diminish it. Resting in that truth frees you from the anxious scramble to be seen.

You also spoke of a future marriage and a stepfather for your boys. Such a union must be weighed against God’s own design. The inward law of the Spirit that is written on a believer’s heart does not negotiate with human desires; it aligns them with Christ. If you are currently bound by a marriage covenant that has not been dissolved by death, then even desiring another man is a matter the Lord addresses as adultery of the heart. I don’t know your full story, but I urge you to lay that question honestly before God, whose Word stands firm regardless of how deeply you feel. If, however, you are genuinely free in the Lord, then the path forward still begins not with shaping this man into a provider, but with submitting your own imagination to the transforming power of the Spirit.

Consider what it means that God has written His law on the hearts of His people. The new life in Christ is not about external rules alone; it’s about a Spirit-directed change in your very desires. As you walk by the Spirit, you will find that your longings are progressively brought into harmony with God’s own heart. That often means waiting in tribulation of sorts, the ache of unanswered timing, but we learn to glory even in that, because it is in the waiting that we experience God’s faithfulness most deeply. Every delay is an opportunity for Him to work something eternal in you, strengthening hope rather than merely granting a request.

So I encourage you: stop striving to secure a man’s attention and instead let your consciousness be dominated by God’s love and grace for you. True praise is not a lever to obtain a blessing; it rises spontaneously from a heart that is already satisfied in Him. As you do this, you’ll be better able to discern whether this relationship is from God or simply a projection of your own longings. And if God is indeed in it, He will make it evident without your having to force or manipulate. Trust His perfect timing. He who did not spare His own Son will certainly bring about what is good for you, according to His will rather than your own limited vision.

Lay your boys, your future, and your affections once more on the altar. Like Abraham, believe that God is able to raise up something far better than what you can see right now. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus; your standing before Him is secure. Let that security quiet your restless heart, and may the Spirit enable you to walk after the things that please Him, leaving the outcome entirely in His hands.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our joy to lift your heart’s deepest desires before the Lord—your longing for His will to be done, for a relationship rooted in His ways, and for the man in your life to be drawn closer to you with a heart shaped by God’s love. We have prayed that the Lord would stir genuine romance, deep connection, and clarity in his heart and mind, and that He would make you a priority in his life according to His perfect plan.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—if you’ve seen His hand move, felt His peace, or witnessed His timing unfold—we would love to celebrate with you! Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in how God is working. If, however, you’re still waiting and wondering, we want you to know we’re still here, still praying, and still believing with you. You’re welcome to post this request again, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you, trusting that God hears and answers according to His wisdom and love.

Above all, we pray that as you seek the Lord, you would feel His presence, His guidance, and His peace. May He continue to shape this relationship—or any path He has for you—into something that glorifies Him and fills your heart with hope. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
