God's will and ways for ### heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ### into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Make me his PRIORITY. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and your desire to walk in God’s will, and we join you in seeking His wisdom and direction for this relationship. First, let us affirm that it is good to bring our desires before the Lord, as He invites us to cast our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). However, we must also examine our prayers in light of Scripture to ensure they align with His truth and purposes.

Your prayer expresses a deep hope for romance, commitment, and a future together, which are natural desires. Yet we must gently remind you that marriage is the only God-ordained context for romantic relationships, as He designed it to be a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). The Bible warns against emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, as it can lead to heartache and disobedience (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this relationship is not yet moving toward marriage, we encourage you to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23) and seek clarity on whether this connection is honoring to God.

You ask for God to make you a priority in this man’s life and to stir a deep romance within him. While it is natural to desire love and affirmation, we must remember that our worth is found in Christ alone (Ephesians 1:4-6). No human relationship can fulfill the void only God can fill. Instead of praying for someone to see your value, pray for God to reveal His value in you and to align your desires with His will. Ask Him to show you whether this relationship is part of His plan or a distraction from His purpose for you.

Your prayer also mentions shaping this man into a provider and a loving stepfather. While these are noble desires, we must be cautious not to place our hope in a person’s potential rather than in God’s sovereignty. Only God can change a heart (Ezekiel 36:26), and we must trust Him to work in this man’s life if He is indeed the one for you. Pray for God to reveal whether this relationship is built on mutual faith in Christ, as Scripture warns against being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14).

Lastly, your prayer does not mention whether this man shares your faith in Jesus Christ. This is a critical foundation for any godly marriage. If he does not know the Lord, we urge you to pray for his salvation first and foremost (1 Timothy 2:4). A marriage built on anything other than Christ will struggle to withstand life’s challenges (Matthew 7:24-27).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this relationship to You and ask that You would reveal Your perfect plan for it. If this connection is not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You would close the door gently but firmly. If it is Your will, we pray that You would grow it in a way that honors You, leading to a godly marriage built on faith in Christ.

Father, we ask that You would guard hearts from emotional or physical impurity. Help us to walk in holiness and to seek Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). Lord, if this man is not the one You have for her, we pray that You would remove any false hope and replace it with Your peace. If he is, we ask that You would draw him closer to You and prepare his heart for the responsibilities of marriage and fatherhood.

We pray for clarity and wisdom, that You would make Your will unmistakably clear (James 1:5). Help her to trust in Your timing and to find her worth in You alone. Lord, we ask that You would work in both of their lives to bring about Your purposes, whether together or apart.

Above all, we pray that Your name would be glorified in this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your peace rule in their hearts. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek God’s will through prayer, Scripture, and godly counsel. Surround yourself with believers who can speak truth into your life and help you discern whether this relationship is from the Lord. Trust that He knows the desires of your heart and will fulfill them in His perfect way and time (Psalm 37:4-5).

We read your prayer and we’re grateful you brought this straight to the Lord. Laying out hopes for a new relationship, a future, and a blended family shows a heart that genuinely wants to honor God with every detail. That takes courage, and we’re standing with you in it.

Long‑distance feelings can race ahead quickly, especially after a meaningful video call. It’s normal to dream of what could be. But the strongest foundations are built when we let a man pursue with steady, consistent actions over time, not just words or one intense connection. So while you wait and watch, give yourself permission to stay grounded: pay attention to how he follows through on small things, how he handles disagreements, and whether his faith shows up in everyday kindness. Those are the clues that tell you who someone really is years before a stepdad steps into your boys’ lives.

A wise, unhurried step is to invite a mature Christian who knows you well, maybe a pastor or mentor, to pray alongside you about this relationship. An outside set of eyes can help you notice red flags or quiet confirmations you might miss. And letting your boys see a calm, trusting mother who prays but doesn’t pressure an outcome is a gift to them right now.

Lord Jesus, thank You for holding every hope and fear we carry. We ask for clear wisdom for this mom. Guard her heart from rushing, and give her peace that doesn’t depend on a man’s timing. Shape this man’s character, draw him closer to You, and if it’s Your good will, grow a love that honors You and becomes a safe, faithful home for her boys. Until then, steady her with Your presence. In Your name, amen.

The prayer lifted before the throne speaks much of a desired outcome, yet I must press upon you the weightier matter of the divine will itself. The axle of the universe is not our small affections or carefully drawn plans, but the will of God, that great heart of providence sending its pulsings through the most distant limbs of human act. All salvation, all preservation, all eternal glory rests upon His will and not upon the strength of our own "I will." A man is never saved against his will, but the work of matchless grace is to change the human will, so making a soul willing in the day of God's power.

Your request pleads that a man’s heart and mind be touched, that you be made his priority, and that a spark be stirred. Yet consider what it is for God’s law to be truly written in the heart. When He puts His law in the inward parts, it is placed where it will be loved and where it will control the whole man. The heart in which God has written His name can never perish, but the writing is His, not ours. To ask for a genuine romance is to ask for a shadow unless the substance is first present, a soul delighting in God after the inward man. The man who has God’s law in his heart will go right without a book, moved by an inward steam. Is it this you seek, or is it a mere earthly affection dressed in the language of providence?

Beware of the spirit that says, “We will go, we will continue, we will buy, we will sell, we will get gain,” speaking of futures entirely in our own strength. What is it for a man to feel he can both propose and dispose without asking God’s consent? While many of God’s purposes are hidden, there is a revealed will we must not violate. The heart that rises not into the serene air of heaven is still groveling here below. You speak of a petition to join him in another land and of a father for your sons. These desires, untempered by absolute surrender, may be the light vapours of a heart that has not yet settled into the rest of eternity. What will it matter whether your earthly stay is cloudy or bright when eternity is secure?

The great question is not whether this man will visit you or declare his love by your timetable, but whether you yourself have been pierced in the heart by the sword of the Spirit. Many are cut to the heart and stop there, taking counsel to slay the messenger rather than the sin. The wound must go deeper, pricking the heart so that we feel the true scale of our sin as God’s Word presents it, not as man’s smooth speech makes it a trifle. Only a heart bleeding for its own unworthiness can be brought to the bleeding heart of Jesus for true healing.

Look away, then, from the map of a future you have drawn and look to God’s own heart. The reason for mercy lies not in man, but in God’s own heart. He looked and saw no good in us, nor the slightest hope of any. His heart is constant in its affection; He does not cast away His children for their fickle frames. When you pray, ask not according to the measure of your own poor, shriveled heart that is so cold and weak, but according to God’s great heart that is infinite and full of grace. For His own sake, He acts, not for your sakes. To ask that He shape another into a provider is to ask for a common mercy; to ask that your own heart be shaped into absolute submission to His will is to ask for the one thing needful.

This one thing I know, that the Lord knows how to speak not only into the ears, but into the heart. If He must draw you into a wilderness of loneliness and need to do so, it will be the kindest surgery. Your deepest dream of a united family must be laid upon the altar, a living sacrifice. Will the Lord cast off forever? Has He forgotten to be gracious? These are hot shots for unbelief. God’s promise may tarry, but it never fails. Lay your request before Him with this final breath: not my will, but Thine be done, according to Thine own heart alone, for that is where all true blessing has its source, its path, and its eternal home.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for God to touch ’s heart and mind, yet you fill your prayer with your own plans: make me his priority, stir a romantic spark, shape him into a provider, bring him here quickly, arrange our marriage and my passage to America. This is not the prayer of a heart that has truly handed everything over to God. You say, "Your will be done," but your words are a list of commands you expect God to carry out. Would you have God be your servant?

Consider the soul. Scripture calls it heart and mind interchangeably: "Create in me a clean heart, O God." Your first need is not a man's heart stirred toward you, but your own heart cleansed and bound to Christ. There are bonds of love that are holy, and there are bonds of slavery to earthly desires. You are weaving bonds for yourself, fretting over timelines and feelings, when the Lord says, "Leave your cares to Me." If you are so thoughtful about these things as a human being, managing every detail, God will let you carry that weight alone, and little provision will come. But when you truly let go and seek first His kingdom, He provides as only God can.

I do not condemn marriage. It is honorable, and remarriage is far better than a life of idle, vain widowhood. But you must understand: marriage brings many worldly distractions. You ask for a husband, a stepfather for your boys, a home in a new land. These things are not evil, but they will not save your soul. If you cast off one state only to plunge into secular anxieties, what have you gained? A widow or any woman seeking a godly union must first be one who has learned to pray without ceasing, whose heart cries out to God in the silence, as Hannah did, as Moses did. Not with loud demands for a spark and a visit, but with such pain and longing for God Himself that even without words, her cry reaches heaven.

The parable of the wedding feast warns us: being invited is not enough; you must wear the proper garment. That garment is a life of holiness and a heart detached from impurity. If you come to the marriage with a robe soiled by selfish passions, by the lust for being prioritized and romanced like the world does, you risk being cast out. True obedience from the heart is not pressured or forced, but it submits to the form of doctrine delivered to us: live rightly, trust utterly, and do not run back to the tyrant of fleshly anxieties.

Therefore, turn your prayer upside down. Instead of pleading, "Make him see my value, make him declare his love," kneel and say, "Lord, give me a clean heart. Bind my wandering mind to Your will alone. If this man is from You, let it be so, but first make me a woman who attends upon You without distraction. Let me value Your love above any human affection. Whether he comes or not, whether I marry or remain as I am, let my soul be wedded to Christ." When your heart is thus fixed, you will know peace, and God will order all things for your good.

Do not mistake this for harshness. It is love that warns against shipwreck. Seek the bonds that tie you to heaven; all others will be arranged by the One who knows your needs better than you do. Make your mind a spiritual heart that prays without ceasing, and leave the outcome in the hands that were nailed for you.

Your prayer shows a heart that longs to submit to God’s will, and that is a good beginning. But as you lay all these details before Him, it is worth inviting His word to search your own heart first. Jesus warned that whoever looks on someone with lustful desire has already committed adultery in the heart. When we fixate on a person, begging God to stir a romantic spark and make us someone’s priority, we have to ask honestly: has this desire crept into a place that only God should occupy? True spiritual life is written on the heart, and God directs our longings when we walk after the Spirit. But if I am lusting and desiring a relationship outside the boundary of a covenant marriage, I may be violating the very spirit of the law, even if the outward story seems innocent.

Many of us carry idols in our hearts, not carved from wood or stone, but a love for something that competes with our love for the Lord. Is your desire for this man and a future in America surpassing your desire for Christ Himself? The deepest thing God wants from you is a heart that can say, "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after." That is a heart fixed on dwelling in His presence, not on securing a relationship. The apostle Paul felt a God-given desire to go to Rome, yet it was years before that door opened. During that wait, he was not consumed with plotting the outcome; he learned to glory in tribulations and serve with a mind renewed by the Spirit.

So rather than primarily asking God to change this man’s heart, ask Him to circumcise your own. True praise is not a transaction to receive a blessing. It is the spontaneous joy that rises from a heart already at rest in God’s grace. When you worship simply because He is good and faithful, you stop using prayer as a tool to maneuver events. Your peace with God does not depend on whether this man ever declares his love, visits, or becomes a stepfather to your boys. Because you are justified by faith in Jesus Christ, that relationship is secure even if this dream never materializes. That certainty does not change with your changing circumstances.

God is patient and often delays the fulfillment of our desires to teach us to trust Him. Do not misinterpret His long-suffering as permission to let your imagination run wild with a future He has not promised. The flesh will always battle for the throne, but you are called to keep your body under and let the law of the Spirit of life govern your emotions. Let your prayer become simple: "Search me, O God, and see if there be any wicked way in me; align my heart with Yours." Then leave the outcome in His hands. He knows the whole story; you do not. The joy ahead may look very different from your blueprint, but those who wait on the Lord will never be put to shame.
