Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We join with you in this beautiful and humble cry for understanding and for the Father's will to be done, and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Your desire for clarity, truth, and revelation honors God, for He delights to lead His children and to make His plan known to those who seek Him with all their heart. We are reminded of His promise in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And in Proverbs 3:5-6 we are told, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
The Lord does not leave us to wander in confusion. Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be our guide, as it says in John 16:13, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, and in John 14:26, But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. When we lack wisdom, we can ask freely, for James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. He also promises in Psalm 32:8, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. And His Word itself is our lamp, for Psalm 119:105 says, Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.
We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this seeking heart to You. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them in fresh measure and touch their heart with Your truth. Quiet every other voice and every confusion, and speak clearly by Your Spirit and through Your Word. Grant revelation and understanding according to Your perfect will, and give the peace that passes all understanding as they wait on You. Lead them step by step, open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and help them to trust not in their own understanding but to acknowledge You in all their ways. Make their path straight and let Your will be done in their life for Your glory. We ask that You draw them deeper into Your Word daily, for there You reveal Your character and Your plan, and that You surround them with godly counsel. We thank You that You are faithful to guide Your children. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your prayer for understanding and clarity and truth is heard, and we join you in asking the Father that His will be done in your life in the name of Jesus.
It is a wise and humble prayer you have offered, for all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, as certainly as His will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so we may rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, and having mercy on whom He will have mercy. Salvation itself is of God's will, not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
You ask for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart with the truth. That truth operates most powerfully upon our minds and so proves to us that it is real. To know the truth of God's salvation is to believe in a real Fall, a real Atonement in Christ, and a real pardon that is freely given to those who trust Him. The work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely, for the invitation is sincere, and the grace that makes the unwilling heart willing is from God alone.
You seek guidance and revelation concerning God's plan. Remember there is a revealed will of God which we must not violate, and it is found in His Word. Be not content unless you get the truth from the mouth of God. Say in your spirit, I will not be comforted unless God Himself shall comfort me, and seek chapter and verse for that which you receive as truth. Believe this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation, for it will never mislead you. It will tell you the truth as to your condition before God, as to what you are to believe and what you are to do.
There is also a providential will of God which we should always consult, guidance which comes from the circumstances that surround us. It is foolish for a man to say, We will go, we will do this or that, and to feel that he can both propose and dispose without asking God's consent at all. Rather let your heart say, I will go or I will stay, if it be the will of God. Do not make up your mind that you will move or that you will not move, but wait for guidance from God as to what He would have you do, and never be too positive in your expectations.
We pray for you now, that the Lord would grant you a clear mind to understand His revealed truth, a submissive heart to bow to His sovereign will, and a steady hope in His promises which never fail. May He preserve you and keep you, and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to guide you into all truth and to keep you in His perfect will. In Jesus name we ask this, trusting that His promise may tarry but it never fails.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer for understanding and clarity has been heard, and it is good that you seek not your own plan but the will of the Father and the truth that comes from the Holy Spirit.
God delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him. As Scripture says, if anyone lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives generously without reproach. Yet this revelation is not given to those who trust in their own wisdom or seek to establish their own righteousness. Christ said the Father has revealed these things to babes, to the humble and lowly in heart, while they are hidden from those who think themselves wise in themselves. To receive truth we need a well ordered soul, a heart made ready through humility, repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and salvation.
So I pray for you now that the Lord will touch your heart and grant what you have asked according to His perfect will. May the Holy Spirit, who guides into all truth, open your eyes to see clearly, give you a love for the Word of God which is a lamp to our feet, and grant you peace as you trust Him. May He show you the next step, not always the whole path at once, and give you strength to obey what He has already made plain in Scripture.
Remember that we need both prayer and obedience. We pray for grace, and we also do our part as God works in us. Seek Him daily in prayer, in reading the Scriptures with a humble heart, in fellowship with faithful believers, and in a life of love toward others. As you do this, God who has already freed you from greater evils by His grace will also be faithful to guide you in the smaller things and to make His will known.
