We join you in this beautiful cry for understanding and clarity and we thank you for seeking the Father's will and inviting the Holy Spirit to touch your heart with truth in the name of Jesus. It is good that you have asked in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His Spirit that we are led into truth.
We hear your longing to know God's plan and to walk in His perfect will, and we know that God delights to give wisdom and revelation to those who earnestly seek Him. His Word promises us that He does not hide His will from His children but reveals it as we trust and abide in Him.
We are reminded of His faithfulness in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And also in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. God’s plan for you is not to confuse you but to give you hope, peace, and a future that glorifies Him.
When we lack clarity we are encouraged to ask boldly, as James 1:5 tells us, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. The Holy Spirit whom you have invited is the Spirit of truth, and Jesus promised in John 16:13, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. He will touch your heart and open your eyes as you dwell in the Word, for Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in Scripture, to be still and listen, and to allow Him to renew your mind so that you may discern His will. Romans 12:2 reminds us, Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Clarity often comes not all at once but step by step as we walk in obedience to what He has already shown us.
We pray together with you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear heart to You and we thank You that You are a God who speaks and who leads Your children with love. We ask that You touch this heart with Your truth by Your Holy Spirit and remove all confusion, doubt, and fear. Grant a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You and enlighten the eyes of the heart to know the hope of Your calling. Make Your path straight and Your will unmistakably clear, whether through Your Word, through Your gentle still voice, or through godly counsel. Help our dear one to trust You with all the heart and not lean on human understanding, to acknowledge You in every way, and to rest in Your perfect timing. Let Your will be done in this life as it is in heaven, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that You draw this heart ever closer to Jesus, to know Him more deeply, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. We trust Your good and perfect plan and we give You all the glory. Amen.
