Beloved of All
Your hunger for truth and for God's will to be done is itself a good and faithful prayer, and God delights to answer it.
Scripture teaches that the Father reveals His truth not to those who consider themselves wise and self sufficient, but to those who come humbly as children before Him. If you would have clarity and revelation, come with a humble and teachable heart, willing to receive what He shows you in His Word and to obey it. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, and He does so most of all through the Scriptures, where God has already given us the sum of what we need for life and godliness.
Ask, and continue to act on what you already know to be His will. Grace does not set aside our part, and our part does not set aside grace. We need both prayer and obedience. Pray earnestly for wisdom, and at the same time walk faithfully in what God has already made clear, trusting that He who freed you from greater things by His grace will also give you light for the smaller steps before you.
As you wait for guidance, give thanks. Give thanks not only for what you hope to receive, but for what God has already done for you and for others. A thankful heart drives away envy and anxiety and makes love more genuine, and it keeps the heart quiet before God.
Remember also that what remains and what matters most is faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love. Do not seek only signs or strong feelings, but seek to grow in trust in Christ, in hope of eternal life through Him alone, and in love for God and neighbor. If you keep these, you will not lose your way.
I pray for you now that the Father, in Jesus name, would touch your heart by the Holy Spirit, grant you a clear understanding of His will, establish you in the truth of His Word, and give you peace to follow where He leads. May He make you humble to receive His revelation, faithful to do His will, and thankful in all things as you seek Him.
