Beloved of All
Your hunger for clarity and truth and for God's will is itself a good gift, and God is pleased when His children ask Him for wisdom. Scripture says, if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him.
God reveals His plan not to those who rely on their own cleverness, but to humble hearts that come before Him as children. So come with humility, willing to submit to whatever He shows you. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, not by a vague feeling alone, but by opening our eyes to understand what is already written in Scripture and by making us willing to obey it. If you want to know God's will, give yourself to His Word daily, for there His character, His commands and His promises are made plain.
Remember also that we need both prayer and obedience. We pray for grace, and we also offer our own part through faithful action. Do not pray only and then sit still, and do not strive only in your own strength. Pray earnestly, and then walk in the small steps of obedience you already know to be right, trusting that God will make the next step clear as you take it. Even now, while you wait, practice thankfulness not only for your own blessings but also for the good God does for others, for a thankful heart drives out envy and anxiety and keeps love genuine.
Stay rooted in Scripture, keep a steady life of prayer, seek counsel from mature believers who walk faithfully with Christ, and turn away from anything that would cloud your mind or divide your heart from love for God and for your neighbor.
I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is the way and the truth and the life, look upon this heart that seeks You. Grant clarity where there is confusion, truth where there is uncertainty, and guidance where the path is unclear. Touch this heart by Your Holy Spirit, soften it, teach it, and lead it to love and do Your will. Give humility to receive what You reveal and courage to obey it. Let Your will be done in this life as it is in heaven. Grant peace that comes from trusting You, and keep this soul in faith, hope and love until Your perfect plan is fully seen. In Jesus name, Amen.
