Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We hear your cry for understanding and we join with you in seeking the Father's will together in Jesus' name. Your desire for clarity and truth and revelation from the Holy Spirit is pleasing to God, for He longs to guide His children and to make His plan known to those who seek Him with a sincere heart.
The Lord has promised to lead us when we ask Him. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. We are told Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. When we lack wisdom we can ask freely, for But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Jesus Himself promised the work of the Holy Spirit in us, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself, but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are to come. John 16:13. And the Father tenderly says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this heart that is hungering for Your truth and guidance. Touch this heart by Your Holy Spirit, open the eyes of understanding, and pour out clarity and revelation according to Your perfect will. Quiet every confusing voice and let Your truth be heard clearly. We ask that You make Your plan plain, that You give wisdom liberally, and that You lead step by step in the way we should go. We surrender to Your will as Jesus taught us to pray, Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Matthew 6:10. Let Your will be done in this life above all else, even above our own desires. Give peace while waiting, courage to obey what You reveal, and faith to trust that Your thoughts toward us are of peace and hope and a future. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone gives us access to You and in whose name we are saved.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the Word, for His Word is a lamp to our feet and His Spirit speaks through it. Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know. Jeremiah 33:3. Be still before Him, listen, and walk in obedience to what He has already shown you, trusting that He will faithfully make the next step clear in His perfect timing.
