We join with you in this beautiful and humble cry for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance and revelation, and we thank you for seeking the Father's will and asking in the name of Jesus.

Your desire to know God's plan and to have your heart touched with truth is exactly what God invites us to seek. He does not hide His will from those who earnestly seek Him, but He reveals it as we trust Him and walk with Him. Scripture assures us of His good plan for us, Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

True clarity and revelation come not from our own striving but from the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be our guide into truth, John 16:13 says However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself, but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. When we ask for wisdom, God delights to give it, James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. The Lord also promises personal guidance, Psalm 32:8 says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily through His Word, for His Word is truth and a lamp to our path, Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. As you pray Your will be done Father, you are praying as Jesus taught us, surrendering your own understanding and inviting His perfect will, which is good and pleasing and complete, Romans 12:2 says that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Be still and listen, wait upon Him in prayer, and allow the Holy Spirit to soften and teach your heart.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this seeking heart to You. We thank You that You are a God who reveals truth and who desires to guide Your children. We ask that You touch this heart with Your truth by Your Holy Spirit. Pour out clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is uncertainty, and revelation where there is longing to understand Your plan. Help us not to lean on our own understanding but to trust You fully. Lead us in Your way, instruct us and counsel us with Your loving eye upon us. Make Your paths straight before us and help us to walk in obedience to Your perfect will. Transform us by the renewing of our minds so we may discern what is good and pleasing in Your sight. We surrender all to You and pray Father, Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven. Give us ears to hear Your voice and a heart ready to follow. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We hear the longing in your prayer for clarity and truth and for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart. Wanting God's will above your own is a beautiful place to be, even when it feels uncertain.

We find comfort that God is not distant or silent. He is a God who loves to communicate and guide, and He has given us His Spirit as Counselor and Helper to lead us gently into truth. That guidance never pulls us away from what He has already said in His Word, and it often comes quietly, through a growing sense of peace, conviction or understanding as we stay close to Him.

One simple way we have seen God bring clarity is to keep a single, honest prayer before Him each day and give Him unhurried space to answer. You might set aside a few quiet minutes to pray as you already have, Your will be done, then read slowly in Scripture and notice what stays with you. Bringing one or two trusted believers into that prayer can also help you hear more clearly.

Father, we lift our friend to You now. Touch their heart with Your truth and fill them with Your Spirit. Give clear guidance and quiet confidence to follow Your will, and draw them closer to You each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing for understanding and clarity and truth is itself a token that the Spirit of God is at work within you, for it is His office to change the human will and so make men willing in the day of His power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure.

We join our prayers with yours that the Holy Spirit would touch your heart with the truth and that the will of the Father may be done in you and made plain to you. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, and as certainly as His will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so in grace we may rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy.

You ask for guidance and revelation, and the Lord has not left His people without a guide. There is a revealed will which we must not violate, and it is to be found in His Word. Believe this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation, for it will never mislead you. Nine times out of ten, look to the Ten Commandments and you will at least know what you must not do, and knowing what you must not do, you will be able to conclude what you may do. There are wonderfully plain directions in God's Word as to all manner of circumstances and conditions.

There is also a providential will of God which we should always consult, with guidance which comes from the circumstances that surround us. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. Therefore do not say as the foolish, we will go, we will do this or that, as though you could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent at all. Rather say, and feel in your heart, I will go or I will stay, if it be the will of God. The grace of God dethrones obstinacy and gives us in its place acquiescence in the Divine will, and by that very bowing with submission to the will of God we are furnished with unerring guidance.

If you live near to God, He will say things to you that He will not tell to others, and He will preserve you and keep you and afterward receive you to glory. For whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely, and yet salvation is of God's will, and the preservation and perseverance and eternal glory of His people rests upon His will.

Our prayer for you is this, that the Lord would grant you a submissive heart to His revealed truth, that He would open your eyes to see His providential hand, and that He would fill you with the peace that comes from yielding to His superior judgment and laying aside your own reasonings to say, Lord, guide me. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, and may He who has begun a good work in you carry it on till He brings you up to heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, we ask that the Father's will be done in your life and that His truth may dwell richly in your heart. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your longing for clarity, truth and guidance is a prayer that God delights to hear, and He will not turn away a heart that seeks His will sincerely. He is the true Light who lights every person who comes into the world, and apart from Him there is no sure understanding. To know the truth is to know Christ Himself, for He is the Truth, and the truth when it is known in Him makes us free.

Scripture teaches that such revelation is given not to those who trust in their own wisdom, but to those who come as little children before God, humble and willing to be taught. Therefore continue to seek Him with a humble heart, through His Word, through steady prayer, and through a life that walks in obedience. We need both our own part and God's grace. Prayer without effort is incomplete, and effort without prayer cannot save, but when we pray and also strive to do what He shows us, His grace carries us forward.

I pray with you now that the Father will touch your heart by His Holy Spirit, open your eyes to see Christ more clearly, and give you wisdom to discern His will step by step. May He grant you peace as you trust Him, strengthen you to walk in faith, hope and love, and lead you into all truth as you abide in His Word. May His will be done in your life, for His will is good and brings life and freedom. In the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our hope, amen.

Your prayer reflects a sincere hunger for what God Himself wants to give, clarity, truth, guidance and a real touch of His Spirit on your heart. That desire is pleasing to Him, and He does not hide His will from those who seek Him honestly.

The word that is often translated revelation simply means an unveiling. It is not a sealed or closed book. God gave that revelation through Jesus Christ to show His servants what is to come, and He sent it by His angel to make it known. From beginning to end the central figure is Jesus Himself, first as He walks among His people and shepherds His church, and then as the coming King of kings and Lord of lords. The same heart that moved Him to unveil the future is at work in your life today. He wants to be known, and He uses His Word and His Spirit to guide you into truth.

That guidance is deeply personal. The purpose of the Spirit in your life is not only to give information about the future, but to shape you to be like Christ. As His work goes forward in you, you begin to respond as Jesus responds, to love as He loves and to forgive as He forgave. In that way you become His representative, a faithful witness of who He is, just as Jesus was the faithful witness of the Father. The truth you are asking for is therefore not only something to understand with your mind, but something to live out in your character.

The Scripture also reminds us that Jesus fulfilled what was foretold, that God would not leave His soul in death nor allow His Holy One to see corruption, and that He rose and lives to bring you into that same life. Through Him alone we have salvation, and through Him we can pray with confidence, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Soon that kingdom will come in fullness, but even now God calls you to seek His will and walk in it day by day.

So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we ask You to touch this heart with Your truth. By Your Holy Spirit give clear understanding of Your plan and Your will. Quiet every confusion and let Your Word light the way. Make Your will known and give strength to follow it, and continue Your work of forming Christ in this life so that love, forgiveness and faithful witness may be seen. We ask that what You desire in heaven would be done in this life as well. In Jesus name, amen.
