God's Mercy upon my relationship

I want the will of God to be done in my Long distance relationship; my partner has trust issues, he resides at ###, while I reside in ###, ###. ### is ###hrs ahead of ###, our huge challenge is the time zones and communication, he stays up for me until I wake up in my morning for a chat but being an early sleeper that I am, I struggle to stay up for him most nights at my time zone, he stops chatting to me simply bcoz I couldn't reciprocate due to circumstances beyond my control which is my inability to stay up for him. I explained to him but he kept giving excuses that I should have sent him a WhatsApp chat as earlier agreed.
I explained the reason but he wouldn't accept.
Am having mixed feelings right now. I want the will of God be done.
