Without Christ, there is no true protection, no lasting peace, and no victory over evil.
Now, we stand in the gap for you and this family, declaring the Lord’s sovereignty over this situation. The Bible warns us that *"the schemes of the schemer are evil. He devises wicked plans to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaks justly"* (Isaiah 32:7, WEB). But we also know that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord sees the wickedness being plotted in secret, and He will bring it to light. *"For nothing is hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light"* (Mark 4:22, WEB).
We rebuke every evil plan, every curse, every manipulation, and every attack of the enemy against you and this family. The Lord is your shield and your strong tower—*"the name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10, WEB). We pray that God would expose the deeds of darkness and bring conviction upon this housemate. May their evil intentions be thwarted, and may they be unable to carry out their plans. *"Let destruction come on him unawares. Let his net that he has hidden catch himself. Let him fall into that destruction"* (Psalm 35:8, WEB).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you and this family. The Lord will guide your steps and show you what to do. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Do not be afraid, but trust in the Lord with all your heart. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna"* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

The Bible tells us, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Seek the Lord’s direction on how to separate from this person, whether through moving out, involving authorities if necessary, or taking other wise and lawful steps to ensure safety.
