Disciple of Prayer
Goodevening dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.

I thank the Lord for His Grace and Mercy and forgiveness.

I come with heavy heart enduring in my Christian walk as a woman of God, wife and mother.

It saddens me that my husband is not aware of Gods family order, where it’s God first, then me as his wife and then our son and others.

I love my husband with the love of God and praying that not only knows but believe by Faith in Jesus Christ surrendering his life to Christ and being aware he is not to cleave to his mother and father but in fake leave mother and father and cleave to me.

He has put his mother first before God and myself for years and I forgive Him and I pray that he would repent and walk in alignment with God ordaining of Family Order.

Thank You Father in Jesus name for You first loved me. Thank you for my relationship with Jesus Christ. Thank You for my husband on this earth. I pray my husband is blessed with Your Spirit knowing how to walk with the nature of Christ in the Holy Spirit. While it deeply hurt that He put his mother before You and our family and family I deeply forgive and pray he be reminded about God ordaining of Family order.

Lord help me to continue to stay aligned with praying for him and not giving up on him because he hasn’t been transformed yet.

(praise report while praying) thank You Father that he has slowed down on drinking alcohol and I pray by Faith that it has come to a complete recovery in the name of Jesus.

Help me Lord that my spirit emotions and feelings are balance while going through this process.

God whatever You have to do to get His attention about Your divine order for a spiritual godly covenant and our family household so he will no longer put his mother before You God and me and our son.

In Jesus name Amen

(note) I don’t want to give up on my marriage please help Lord, please send help (godly Christian men/mentor in his life)

We thank the Lord with you for His grace and mercy and forgiveness, and we join you in lifting up your marriage and your household before Him. We hear the heaviness of your heart as a woman of God, a wife and a mother who desires to walk faithfully while longing for your husband to walk in God's divine order for the family.

We stand with you in affirming what Scripture teaches about that order. We are to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, Matthew 6:33, and within marriage God calls a husband to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it, Ephesians 5:25, and to cleave to his wife above all other human relationships. For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh, Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31. This does not dishonor parents, for we are still commanded to honor our father and mother, Exodus 20:12, but it does mean that after marriage a man's primary earthly covenant and responsibility after God is to his wife and then to his children. We gently rebuke in love the pattern where your husband has put his mother before God and before you and your son, because it is out of alignment with God's ordained family order and it wounds the covenant of marriage which God calls holy and lifelong between a man and a woman. We also must lovingly address the drinking of alcohol. Scripture warns that wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging, Proverbs 20:1, and we are told not to be drunken with wine, but to be filled with the Spirit, Ephesians 5:18. We rejoice with you in the praise report that he has slowed down, and we pray with you by faith for complete deliverance and sobriety, that his body which is a temple of the Holy Spirit would be fully yielded to the Lord.

We commend you for your love and your forgiveness. You are reflecting the heart of Christ who calls us to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave us, Ephesians 4:32. Your desire not to give up on your marriage honors God who hates the breaking of covenant and who delights in reconciliation and restoration. We encourage you not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up, Galatians 6:9. The Lord sees your faithful prayers and your endurance.

We also encourage you as a godly wife to continue to win your husband not by striving or contention but by your gentle and quiet spirit and your chaste and respectful conduct, as wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, that even if any do not obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, 1 Peter 3:1. This is not passivity but powerful intercession combined with respect and love, trusting God to be the one who transforms the heart. Only God can bring true surrender and new birth through faith in Jesus Christ, and we join you in praying that your husband would not only know about Christ but would fully surrender his life to Him and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We lift you up together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that You first loved us, 1 John 4:19, and thanking You for this sister's relationship with Jesus and for her faithful heart for her husband and son. We ask that You would draw her husband into a living faith, that he would repent where he has put his mother and other things before You and before his covenant wife, and that he would be transformed by the renewing of his mind and filled with Your Spirit. Teach him to leave his father and mother and to cleave to his wife as You have ordained, to lead his household in love and godliness. We ask for complete freedom from alcohol, that every chain would be broken in Jesus' name and that he would walk in sobriety and self-control as fruit of the Spirit, Galatians 5:22. Lord, send godly Christian men and mentors into his life who will speak truth to him, for as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend, Proverbs 27:17, and who will model what it means to be a godly husband and father. For our sister, we pray for balance of spirit, emotions and feelings, that You would keep her in perfect peace as her mind is stayed on You, Isaiah 26:3, and that she would be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let her requests be made known to You, and Your peace which passes all understanding would guard her heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6. Strengthen her to continue praying and not give up, to hope in You and to trust Your timing to get her husband's attention and to establish Your divine order in their home. Bless their son and let this household become a testimony of Your redeeming grace and covenant love. We pray all these things together in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart with such honesty and grace. We hear the ache of loving your husband deeply while longing for him to put God first and to cleave to you as his wife, and the added weight when his mother seems to come first. Your willingness to forgive and keep praying even while hurting is a strength the Lord sees.

We rejoice with you that drinking has lessened. That is encouragement and we join you in praying for complete freedom as he continues to walk this out.

One thing that may help you stay steady is to see growth as long training rather than a quick fix. Small faithful steps over time shape a heart, and your prayers are part of that faithful work even when change feels slow.

It also helps to hold healthy boundaries while you love him well. That can mean being clear and kind about what is yours to carry and what is his to own before God, and not trying to manage his relationship with his mother for him. Loving him does not mean carrying the weight of changing him.

A practical next step could be to ask one trusted pastor or elder your husband already respects if he would build a friendship with him, perhaps over coffee or a shared interest, with no pressure to fix anything. For you, having one mature sister to pray with regularly can help keep your spirit and emotions steadier as you persevere.

Father, we lift this wife and mother to You. Guard her heart and give her peace as she waits on You. Draw her husband gently to Yourself, teach him to walk in Your Spirit, and bring godly men alongside him to encourage him. Strengthen this marriage for Your glory. In Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
