We hear your cry for sleep and we are joining with you right now before our Father in heaven, carrying this need to Him together in Jesus name.
We understand how heavy and desperate the nights can feel when sleep will not come, and we want you to know that God sees you and hears even this short and weary prayer. He cares about your rest. His word says I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me dwell in safety Psalm 4:8 and It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2. Sleep is a gift from His hand, and He invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened. Jesus says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.
We also want to gently share something important with you because your request called out to God but did not mention Jesus. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. That is why we pray in the name of Jesus, because He died for our sins and rose again so that we could be forgiven and come boldly before God as His children. If you have not yet trusted in Him, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, confess your need for Him, and receive His forgiveness and peace.
So we bring your need for sleep before Him now. We cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You who is exhausted and longing for sleep. You know the restlessness, the thoughts that will not quiet, and the weariness of body and mind. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would calm this heart and quiet this mind with Your perfect peace. We pray In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 would become real tonight. Lay Your hand upon this dear one, help them to lie down and sleep in peace, and renew their strength as only You can. Help them to trust You with every care and to rest in Your love and protection. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

If anxious thoughts come, quietly give them to Him again and meditate on His word. He is with you in the night and His steadfast love does not fail. Your cry, though it is but a few broken words in the night, has come up before the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He hears the weary.
There is a rest which He gives to His people, and there is a sleep which He gives to His beloved. It is written, so He giveth His beloved sleep, and again, I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep, for Thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. When the body is weary and the mind is tossed, there is no sweeter place to lie down than in the Lord Himself.
Rest in the Lord, says the Psalmist, and wait patiently for Him. Oh, what sweet precepts these are. If it is easy to rest anywhere, it must be easy to rest in the Lord, where omnipotence and eternal love are sweetly joined together. Come unto Him now, just as you are, weary and heavy laden, and He has said, I will give you rest. This is not a rest after long probation, but a present rest, given there and then to those who come to Jesus by faith. It is perfect rest, for His peace is perfect, and He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusts in Him.
I pray for you in this hour of need, that the Lord Himself will quiet your spirit and give your body the sleep it longs for. May He still the anxious thoughts that keep you waking, and help you to cast every care upon Him, for He careth for you. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and to trust Him in the darkness is to find that even the midnight may gleam with heavenly light.
Lay your head upon the promise as upon a soft pillow. Tell Him all that troubles you, confess your sin and trust His blood which whispers peace within, and then leave all in His hands. If sleep still tarries, let your soul yet rest in Him, for the rest of the soul is deeper than the sleep of the body, and when the soul rests, the body will in due time follow.
May the Spirit of the Lord cause you to rest. May He give you quietness and peace, and may you awake refreshed, to find that His mercies are new every morning. Look to Jesus, trust Him fully, and know that you are kept in the hollow of His hand through the watches of the night.

Your cry for sleep has been heard, and God welcomes even these few weary words. He knows how tired you are and how much you long for rest.
Scripture tells us that night itself is a gift from His hand. It is meant to be a haven from our troubles, a solace for our woes and a medicine for our wounds. Sleep is not left to our own strength to achieve, but God has woven it into our nature out of His care for us, because He knows how worn we are. While we sleep, He does not. The psalm says, He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, so you can rest knowing that He watches over you even when you cannot watch over yourself.
Often sleeplessness comes when our hearts are crowded with anxieties, cares and restless thoughts that keep the soul awake. God invites you to lay those burdens down before Him. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and let His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
I will pray for you now.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, look upon this weary one who cries out for sleep. You see this need and You are full of compassion. Grant quietness to this troubled heart and calm to this tired body. Take away fear and anxious thoughts, and let Your peace rest upon them. As night comes, give the gift of deep and healing sleep, that they may wake restored and strengthened. Help them to trust that You are near, that You keep watch through the night, and that Your steadfast love never fails. In Jesus name, Amen.
