Thank you for opening your heart so honestly and for beginning with thanksgiving. Gratitude for a hug and for healing already received is a good place to start, and God delights to hear that kind of thankfulness.
He sees you completely. Nothing about you is hidden from Him. He knows your weakness and your needs with compassion and sympathetic understanding, and He cares about every detail you mentioned, from the large requests to the very practical ones like strength for cleaning and grace to stay hydrated while you care for your grandmother and your mother. Caring for family members in your home is a loving and honoring work, and it is right to ask Him for daily strength, wisdom, and endurance for it.
You have brought many needs for healing, for your grandmother and mother, for your father and his heart, for your brother, for ### and for ###, for teeth and toes and heart and brain, and for deliverance from evil and from unclean spirits. It is right to bring these bodies and minds to Jesus. In the Scriptures we see Him take a fevered woman by the hand and lift her up, and the fever left her. We see Him cleanse those whom no one else could help, when healing could only come by a divine act. Even in the law He left room for His grace to operate, so that when He desired to work a miracle there was provision for it. Give God room to work in these lives. Do not put Him in a box about what He can or cannot do. He is able to heal, to restore, and to deliver, and He often does so out of pure compassion. At the same time we trust His wisdom and His timing, asking for healing while submitting to His perfect will.
As you pray for healing, remember that the deepest need any of us has is not only the healing of the body but the forgiveness of sins. We can be so focused on symptoms that we miss the root. The most important thing is salvation. It is better to enter heaven whole in Christ than to have a healthy body and remain separated from God. God has made only one provision for sin, and that is the blood of Jesus Christ His Son, the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. There is no other way for sin to be atoned for. To come to Him is to receive cleansing and new life, and to refuse Him is to remain without hope. So as you ask for healing for everyone in your home, keep asking above all for salvation for everyone in your home. Pray that each one would come to the light and receive what Jesus has done for them. That is the greatest healing.
You also asked for deliverance and protection for your home from the enemy and from every evil influence. Deliverance comes through Jesus alone. It is through His blood and His authority that we are set free from bondage to sin and from oppression. Pleading His blood is not a formula but a trust in what He already accomplished on the cross. Continue to bring your home under His lordship, asking Him to cleanse it, guard it, and restore what has been broken.
Your desires for provision are also before Him. You asked for a reasonably priced plane ticket for your father, for a little home of your own, and for a spouse and children and joy in your life. God knows our need for shelter, for provision, and for companionship. It is good to ask Him to provide a home and, if it is His will, a godly spouse within the lifelong covenant of marriage as He designed it, one man and one woman, where intimacy and family find their proper and blessed place. Pray that He would prepare you and prepare that future spouse to follow Jesus faithfully, so that a marriage would be built on Christ and that any children would be raised to know Him. And pray for contentment and joy in Him now, whether that provision comes quickly or over time.
You asked for help to worship God and not idols, and how to do this. Worshiping Him means giving Him the first place in your heart, trusting Jesus alone for salvation and not looking to any created thing, person, or practice to give you what only He can give. It is lived out by turning from anything that would take His place, by praying in Jesus name, by hearing and obeying His Word, by thanking Him, and by telling others what great things the Lord has done for you and how He has had compassion on you. As He works in your life, share that story with those around you.
You are not alone in this. When we follow Jesus we are brought into the family of God, and that bond through Christ can be even deeper than natural family ties. He places us among brothers and sisters who can love, pray, and fellowship with us.
So I pray for you now. Father, thank You for Your compassion and for seeing this dear one fully. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would bring salvation to every person in this home, that each would trust in the blood of Jesus alone for forgiveness. Bring healing according to Your mercy to each body and mind that has been lifted up, and bring deliverance from every evil and unclean influence. Guard and restore this home. Provide daily strength for caregiving and for practical needs, provide for travel and for housing as You see best, and if it is Your will provide a godly marriage and family that honors You. Teach this heart to worship You alone and to walk in Your ways. Let Your will be done, and let joy and peace increase. In the name of Jesus, amen.
