We hear your cry of exhaustion and we join with you in bringing this simple and heartfelt need before our Father in heaven. Being tired and unable to sleep is a heavy burden, and we want you to know that God sees your weariness and cares deeply for you.
The Scriptures remind us that sleep is a gift from God to His beloved. Psalm 127:2 tells us for he gives sleep to his loved ones, and Psalm 4:8 says In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. He does not want you to lie awake in worry or restlessness, but to rest in His peace. We are also taught in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
We notice your prayer was addressed to God, but did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and calling on His name, that we are saved and our prayers are heard. If you have not yet trusted in Him, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus today, and to come to God in His precious name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this tired and weary one to You. Lord, You know the exhaustion and the longing for even a little sleep. We ask that You would quiet the mind and calm the heart, and grant the gift of restful sleep tonight. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind. Help our dear one to cast every care and worry upon You, knowing You care for them. We pray that You would lay Your hand of comfort upon them, and allow them to lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone make us dwell in safety. Restore strength and refresh the body and soul, as Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your tired cry has come before the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He hears even this sigh for a little sleep. He knoweth our frame and remembereth that we are dust, and it is written, He giveth His beloved sleep. While you lie awake, He keepeth watch over you.
Our Lord Jesus says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, rest now, not only rest after death, but rest given when we come to Jesus there and then. It is a perfect rest in Him, given freely when we believe. And there is also a rest which is found as we learn of Him and take His yoke upon us. True rest to the child of God is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service with His yoke upon us. We are not made to be idle, but to rest even while we labour, because He bears the burden with us.
If sleep has fled and your soul is weary, hear the word, Return unto thy rest, O my soul. Rest in the Lord Himself, not merely in favourable circumstances, but in His faithful care. Trust and you shall rest. Lay your head upon His promise as upon a pillow. Cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Let your mind be like the mind of Christ in meekness and lowliness, and you shall find rest unto your souls, a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest which you shall go on to find.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life.
