I hear the anxiety in your heart as you face your workplace, and I want you to know that the Lord is not distant from that worry. His word speaks into every uncertain tomorrow. The future that feels so fragile to you right now is fully known to Him. There is no moment ahead that catches Him off guard; what is still to come is already clear before His eyes. He declares, “I have purposed it, and My purposes shall stand.” You can rest in that certainty.

Sometimes we feel like Jacob, traveling into a long and perilous unknown, tired and afraid, with no sense of God’s presence. Yet when he awoke from his dream, he realized, “God is in this place, and I did not know it.” The same is true for you. Even when the path seems full of hidden dangers, He is there. He has not left you to face your workplace alone, and He will not let the story end in darkness.

I know that what looms ahead can look bleak, and the daily pressures can make you wonder if trouble will pursue you. But the Lord never finishes His word to His people on a note of despair. Time after time, after speaking of judgment and hardship, He turns the prophecy toward a bright and glorious hope. For those who trust in Christ, every threat is held within a greater promise of restoration and peace. The end of your story, no matter how many difficult chapters intervene, is secure in His hands.

Do not let fear drive you to imagine that He will fail you. He who has been faithful in the past will not abandon you now. Keep your heart close to His voice, walk in obedience to what He has commanded, and place your future on His sure word. That is your safe ground. When the uncertainty presses in, remind yourself that the one who will gather His redeemed from the ends of the earth is the one who guards your coming and going even now. Let that hope sustain you today, and may you find that He truly is the God who comforts you.
