We hear your cry and we join with you in bringing your burdens before our Heavenly Father, for He hears the cries of His children and He is merciful and gracious. We know how heavy it is to lie awake at night worrying about food, rent, and work, and we want to lift you up together in Jesus' name.
The Lord knows your needs even before you ask, and He calls us not to be consumed with worry but to trust Him. Jesus said, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's evil is sufficient for itself. Matthew 6:31-34. We are also reminded, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
Worry itself cannot provide for you or add a single hour to your life, but casting your cares on Him brings peace and rest. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. Psalm 55:22. And, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. He also promises to give sleep to His beloved, for it is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Psalm 127:2. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19.

Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is burdened and sleepless with worry. Lord, You see the need for daily bread, for shelter and for provision to pay rent, and for open doors for honest work. We ask for Your mercy and grace to pour out. Provide food for each day, make a way for rent to be paid, and guide to the right job where labor can be done faithfully for Your glory. Grant peaceful sleep and quiet the anxious thoughts, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help us to seek first Your Kingdom and to trust that You will add all that is needed. Give wisdom, strength and diligence to do all work heartily as for You, and bring help and counsel from Your people. We thank You that You hear us when we call on the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to You. We trust Your loving care and Your perfect will. In Jesus Christ Almighty Name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every need to God in prayer with thanksgiving each day and to rest in His promises. Be diligent in seeking work and stewarding what He provides, doing all as unto the Lord, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. Reach out to your local church family for practical help, wise counsel and community, for God often provides through His people. Keep your eyes on Him and trust that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will surely care for you who are far more valuable to Him.

Your honest cry in the night has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord with you. The sleepless hours, the burden about bread and rent and work, are not hidden from Him who numbers the hairs of your head and knows your need before you ask.
Our Saviour gives this gracious injunction, Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. This does not call you to carelessness, for you are to be prudent and diligent and to do what your hands find to do. You have no right to waste what He entrusts to you, but you are called not to be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent in seeking work and stewarding what you have, but leave the fretting to be replaced by prayer.
You have learned what many have learned, that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. As I have often observed, I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, or that it has brought any grist to the mill, or any meal to the barrel. Well, if a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. Worry does not fill the cupboard, it does not pay the rent, it does not open the door to employment. It only wearies the body and robs the night of rest.
Remember the widow of Zarephath. The meal which the woman brought to the prophet was taken out of her store and yet not taken out of it. It was meal given her by miracle, the first installment of miraculous provision, and the barrel did not waste nor did the cruse fail. So the Lord still provides for His children, often by ordinary means, often by His own wonderful hand, but always according to His faithful promise. He who fed the widow will not forget you.
Therefore bring your cares to Him in simple prayer. Cast all your anxiety upon Him because He cares for you. Tell Him plainly about the food, the rent, the job, and ask for daily bread and daily strength. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and trust Him to add what is needed. In the night when sleep departs, turn worry into prayer, and let the peace of God guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
