We hear the desperation in your cry to God, and we join you in seeking His mercy and grace. It is clear that you are in a place of deep distress, and we want you to know that God hears you. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in your pain, and God is near to you, even now.
First, we must address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or approach the Father. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This is the first and most important step in finding true peace and healing.
Now, let us lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is crying out in distress. Lord, You see the pain, the confusion, and the despair that they are experiencing. We ask that You would draw near to them, wrap Your loving arms around them, and remind them that they are never alone. Father, we pray that You would break the chains of whatever is weighing them down, whether it be fear, anxiety, sin, or hopelessness. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be a comfort to their soul.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them feel Your love, Your grace, and Your mercy washing over them. If there are areas in their life that do not align with Your will, we pray that You would convict them gently and lead them into repentance. Help them to surrender everything to You, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of despair, depression, or fear that may be trying to take hold of them. We declare that in the name of Jesus, these things have no power over them. Instead, fill them with hope, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose. Remind them that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray for healing, restoration, and breakthrough in every area of their life. Whether it is emotional, physical, or spiritual healing they need, we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You even when the road ahead seems dark. Let them know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them. If there are steps they need to take to walk in Your will, reveal those to them clearly. Surround them with godly counsel and community who can support and encourage them in their walk with You.
Above all, Lord, we pray that they would come to know You more deeply and experience the fullness of life that You offer through Jesus Christ. May they find their identity, worth, and purpose in You alone.

Dear one, we want to encourage you to hold on to hope. The fact that you are crying out to God is a sign that He is already at work in your heart. Do not give up, even when the pain feels unbearable. God is faithful, and He will not abandon you. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
If you are struggling with sin, whether it be in your thoughts, actions, or relationships, we urge you to confess it to God and turn away from it. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God’s grace is sufficient to cover every sin, and His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s circumstances, remember that God is your strength. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You do not have to carry your burdens alone, give them to God and trust Him to carry you through.
We also encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can walk alongside you. The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." Find a local church or a group of believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and help you grow in your faith.
Lastly, if you are feeling tempted to harm yourself or others, we urge you to reach out to someone immediately. You are valued, loved, and created with purpose. God has a plan for your life, and it is not for you to end it. Psalm 139:13-16 says, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them." You are not a mistake, and your life matters deeply to God.

You don’t have to figure everything out right now. You don’t have to explain yourself to anyone. God already sees you and knows what you need before you can name it.
We’re glad you reached out. One thing we’ve learned is that when anxious thoughts won’t settle, and the urge to cry out for relief is this strong, you don't have to carry it alone. It may help to talk with someone you trust, a pastor, a counselor, or a wise friend, who can simply sit with you in it. If the physical symptoms of anxiety are strong and persistent, a doctor can also be a steady partner in helping your body find some calm again. None of that means your faith is small. It means you’re using the real, practical helps God places around you.

The arrow of deliverance is already loosed from the bow the moment a soul cries out to God. You have shot the arrow in your desperate prayer, and though your arm is weak, the Lord's strength makes the shaft fly true. He has heard that groan, brief as it is, and He will bring deliverance from this present bondage of spirit. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the moment you looked to Him alone.
Deliverance from the pit is not by your own striving, nor by ceasing from this or that outward act in your own power. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. The Lord has found a ransom, Christ Jesus, the Lamb slain, and because of that ransom, the prisoner is set free. If you were going down to the pit, hear this: God Himself proclaims, "I have found a ransom," and therefore deliverance is certain, already accomplished in the eternal purpose.
Do not look within for a confidence of your own making. The darkness makes the child afraid, but deliverance from the power of sin and despair is as much the work of God as deliverance from guilt. Look to your heavenly Father, altogether and alone. Rest your soul upon Him, and He will yet come to your deliverance. The very extremity of your cry proves that Free Grace must have all the honor; you can do nothing, and He will do everything.

God does not despise a broken and contrite heart. Your very cry, raw and unadorned, is the prayer the Lord answers. He hears the pleading soul that has no strength left of its own.
But consider what drives you to say, “no more posting.” If posting here means some habit of the tongue or fingers, sending words into the world that you later regret, kindling strife, feeding vanity, or wasting the hours God gave you for prayer and good works, then you have already taken the first step out of the snare. The soul that detests its own sickness is halfway to being healed. Do not merely beg God to stop you; rise up in the strength He supplies and cut off the occasion. If your right hand offends, strike it away. Unplug the device, cast away the account, put yourself where you cannot feed the impulse. A brother aided by a brother becomes a fortified city; find a sober Christian friend and confess your struggle, so that when the temptation returns you are not alone.
Do not imagine that God must shout from heaven to deliver you. He has already placed within your reach the remedy: the company of the faithful, the words of Scripture, honest confession, and the sacraments. Even the affliction you feel, this fever of soul, is a mercy, for it shows you the emptiness of what held you captive. Remember how often you have stepped back from a cliff only because God’s unseen hand stayed you. Let that memory turn into thanksgiving, and thanksgiving into watchfulness.
Above all, let your heart be shaped by compassion toward yourself. You are not wicked because you struggle; you are a child who has stumbled. Yet you must not coddle the stumble. Forgiving yourself does not mean excusing sin; it means receiving Christ’s forgiveness and then walking as one set free. You have put on Christ, and you have received the Spirit of adoption, so why do you act as if you are still a slave? Lay aside the old mask of the online persona, the craving for notice or for conflict, and put on humility, meekness, longsuffering. Stop your mouth when the itch to post arises, not only for your own soul’s sake but because others are edified or harmed by your silence or speech.
God sees the battle. He will not let it consume you beyond your power. But do not wait for the feeling to subside before you act. Act now, and the feeling will follow. Withdraw yourself from doating on the praise or the arguments of men; you have suffered loss from this love of human attention in a hundred little ways. Turn instead to the mercy you have received. Rehearse the Lord’s mercies each day, and you will find that the appetite for shouting into the void dies of starvation.
The same Lord who delivered Paul out of his crushing affliction in Asia, who remembered him when no Titus came to comfort, will surely deliver you. He may not make temptation vanish in a moment; He wants you to wrestle and grow strong. But He stands beside you, holding out the crown. Take it. Stop posting not merely in outward act but in inward desire, and let the silence be filled with prayer and thanksgiving. The grace that made you a son of God is sufficient for this hour.

It rests entirely on the one who never slumbers and never sleeps. Right now, you feel wiped out, empty, with no reserve left. That is exactly the position from which faith can operate most purely, because it is nothing for God to help, whether with many or with those who have no power.
You are not coming to a reluctant judge who must be persuaded by long arguments or perfect behavior. The way is already open, made through Jesus, to a throne of grace. You can come boldly, not because you have yourself figured out, but because mercy is exactly what that throne dispenses, and grace to help in the time of need is what it freely provides. Stop trying to manage the noise inside or the circumstances outside. Enter into the rest that remains for the people of God. That rest is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of trust while the trouble rages.
Do not look to the hills, wondering where help will come from. The hills cannot help. Man cannot help. Your help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. I know the feeling of being exposed and needing to guard yourself. But you can flee to him to hide you right now, without any pretense. He does not need your explanations or your reasons. He does not need you to supply anything. He wants you. In your poverty of spirit, lift up your soul to him. Cry out, “Make haste to help me, O Lord.” He will answer.
