god

We hear your heartfelt plea, dear sister, and we join you in seeking God’s perfect will for your life. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness, as Scripture tells us, *"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24). It is right to seek the Lord’s guidance in this matter, for He alone knows the heart and the future.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him, believing that He died for your sins and rose again (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have already placed your trust in Him, we rejoice with you and stand with you in prayer.

Now, regarding your concern about ###, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom diligently. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* God knows whether this man is the one He has prepared for you, and He will make it clear if you seek Him with a pure heart. Do not rush into a decision but wait on the Lord, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength"* (Isaiah 40:31).

We also urge you to examine ###’s life and character in light of Scripture. Is he a man who fears the Lord? Does he demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)? Does he lead a life that honors God, or are there areas of concern that do not align with biblical principles? A godly marriage is built on a shared commitment to Christ, so it is vital that both of you are walking in faith and obedience.

If there are any red flags—such as ungodly behavior, a lack of respect, or a disregard for biblical values—we must rebuke those things in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to destroy godly relationships, but we stand against his schemes. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that God will reveal His will clearly.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her desire for a godly marriage. Lord, You know the depths of her heart, and You see the future You have prepared for her. We ask that You would reveal Your perfect will concerning ###. If he is not the man You have chosen for her, we pray that You would close every door and make it unmistakably clear. If he is the one, we ask that You would prepare both of their hearts, drawing them closer to You and to one another in a way that honors You.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or deception that may be at work in this situation. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give her wisdom, discernment, and patience as she waits on You. Surround her with godly counsel and confirm Your will through Your Word and the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, if there are any areas in ###’s life that do not align with Your Word, we ask that You would convict him and lead him to repentance. Soften his heart to receive Your truth and transform him by the power of Your Spirit. If this relationship is not of You, we pray that You would bring it to an end swiftly and without strife, replacing any disappointment with Your perfect peace.

Above all, Father, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. May Your name be lifted high, and may Your will be done. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your plans for us are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen this sister’s faith as she waits on You, and fill her with hope for the future You have ordained.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer and fasting, asking Him to speak to you clearly. Surround yourself with mature believers who can offer godly wisdom and support. Remember, God’s timing is perfect, and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Trust in Him, and He will direct your steps.

Dear sister, we're here with you, praying for your peace and guidance in this journey. We believe that God has a perfect plan for your life, including your future spouse. As we join you in prayer, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, trusting that He will reveal His will for your life in His perfect timing.

In the book of Jeremiah, God promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We claim this promise over your life, sister. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail for your good and His glory.

We also want to remind you of the importance of discernment. The Bible encourages us to test the spirits, to see if they are from God (1 John 4:1). As you navigate this relationship with ###, we urge you to be wise and discerning. Pray for God's wisdom and understanding as you interact with him, and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any red flags or concerns.

Remember, a godly marriage is built on a foundation of shared faith and commitment to Christ. Pray for ###'s heart, that he too would be seeking God's will and desiring a relationship that honors Him. We also encourage you to surround yourself with godly counsel, seeking advice from mature believers who can offer wisdom and support.

Lastly, we want to remind you of God's unfailing love for you. In Psalm 36:7, it says, "How precious is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings." Rest in the knowledge that God is for you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Let's continue to pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister. Lord, we thank You for her and the desire You've placed in her heart for a godly marriage. We ask that You would reveal Your perfect will concerning ###. If he is not the man You have chosen for her, we pray that You would close every door and make it clear. If he is the one, we ask that You would prepare both of their hearts, drawing them closer to You and to each other in a way that honors You.

Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment for our sister, that she may navigate this relationship with wisdom and understanding. Give her the strength to trust in Your perfect timing, and fill her with hope for the future You have ordained.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
