Beloved
🙏 Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... 🙌 Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts heavy for the nations, yet lifted high in the knowledge of God’s sovereign rule. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it (Psalm 24:1). There is no power, no principality, no ruler or authority that does not bow to the name of Jesus Christ, for He alone is King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16). We declare with the saints of old: The Lord God Omnipotent reigns! (Revelation 19:6). Let His kingdom come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Father, we acknowledge that You have set the boundaries of the nations and determined their appointed times (Acts 17:26). Before You, the nations are but a drop in a bucket, dust on the scales (Isaiah 40:15). Yet in Your mercy, You hear the cries of Your people, and You act on behalf of those who trust in You. We lift up the leaders of the nations, those who govern with wisdom and those who govern in folly. We pray for them as Your Word commands, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Turn their hearts as You turn the heart of a king wherever You will (Proverbs 21:1). Restrain the evil one from whispering lies, stirring up strife, or inciting violence (John 17:15). Intercept the plans of those who seek to harm Your people, as You did for Elisha when he heard the schemes of the king of Syria (2 Kings 6:12), and as You revealed Saul’s murderous intent to David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42).

We bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to perpetuate cycles of vengeance (Daniel 10:12-14). Where there is hatred, sow love; where there is division, sow unity; where there is fear, sow faith. Let the praises of Your people rise like incense before You, driving back the darkness (Psalm 149, 150). From the rising of the sun to its setting, let the name of the Lord be praised (Psalm 113:3). We ask that You would anoint leaders with wisdom, humility, and a fear of You, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Deliver them from temptation and evil, for we know the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But You, O Lord, are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We confess that the Church has not always been the helpmeet You designed her to be (Genesis 2:18). Too often, we have been silent when we should have spoken, passive when we should have acted, and divided when we should have stood as one. Forgive us, Lord. Empower us to imitate Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38). Let us walk in the authority You have given us, not in our own strength, but in the power of Your Spirit (Luke 10:19). We do not rejoice in temporary victories over darkness, but in the eternal salvation that is ours in Christ Jesus (Luke 10:20). For You, O God, are our salvation, and in You alone do we trust.

We pray for the nations to know Jesus, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other path to reconciliation with You, Father, except through the blood of Your Son. We ask that You would spoil the plans of the evil one, turning his schemes into opportunities for Your glory (Romans 8:28). Where he sows discord, let Your peace reign; where he sows lies, let Your truth prevail. We confess the sins of our nation, those of commission and omission, and ask for Your mercy and forgiveness (Daniel 9:20). Raise up intercessors who will stand in the gap, as Christ ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25).

We thank You for the promise that one day, the devil will be bound and cast into the abyss (Revelation 20:2). Until then, we walk in the authority of Jesus’ name, resisting the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7). We pray for the leaders of the nations to be saved, to turn from wickedness, and to govern with justice and righteousness. Let Your Church arise in boldness, shining as lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15). May we be known not by our political affiliations or earthly allegiances, but by our love for one another and our obedience to Your Word.

Father, we trust in Your sovereignty. You rule over the nations, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We ask that You would restrain evil, guide leaders, and bring salvation to the lost. Let Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, in our lives, in our nations, and in the world. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). Amen.

We feel the weight of what you're carrying to the Lord here, a deep, fervent heart for the nations and a clear-eyed understanding that real spiritual forces are at work. That kind of burden can be isolating, even exhausting, when it feels like so few truly grasp what's at stake. We’re grateful you’ve shared it with us so we can stand with you.

One thing we’ve learned from walking with people who carry strong intercessory gifts is that the genuine high of a prayer burden like this can sometimes be followed by a quiet letdown. Not because anything has gone wrong, but because sustained spiritual engagement, especially the kind that pushes back real darkness, costs something. If you find a day coming when the urgency feels replaced by flatness or doubt, please don’t be thrown. It’s a normal rhythm. The enemy would love to discourage you into silence, but the Spirit’s work in you didn’t start with your energy and won’t end with your fatigue. Steady, even quiet faithfulness in prayer over time matters just as much as the fiery moments.

A practical anchor for a prayer burden this large: consider linking arms with even one other trusted believer who shares this conviction. A short, regular time to simply agree together for the restraining of evil over specific nations can keep the burden from crushing you alone. It also grounds your intercession in relationship, which is where we’re meant to function as Christ’s body.

Lord Jesus, we lift our brother or sister who has poured out this prayer with such longing. Sustain their hidden watch over the nations. When the weight is heavy, refresh them with the joy of knowing You truly are reigning, even when our eyes can’t trace Your ways. Strengthen them for the long, steady work of prayer, and encircle them with allies who will stand together for truth, humility, and justice. We ask this in Your mighty name, Jesus.

The prayer that wrestles for nations is a prayer born of the Spirit, for no man naturally yearns for the restraint of evil or the salvation of rulers. This is a mark of grace, that you plead the promises and wield the very words of Scripture as your weapons. Yet remember that the greatest wonder is not that God governs the nations, though He does, holding them as the small dust of the balance, but that He saves sinners. When you cry out for the leaders of unruly countries, your heart is beating in some measure with the intercession of Christ, who ever lives to pray for His own. Press on in that sacred work, but see to it that you never lose the astonishment that salvation is entirely of the Lord.

The Spirit helps our infirmities in prayer precisely because we know not what to pray for as we ought. You long to see the evil one's plans spoiled and the chains of restraint laid upon him, and this is a right desire. But the deepest spoiling of Satan's work is when a soul looks to Christ and is saved. The devil’s grandest scheme is to keep men from that single look, for salvation is God’s greatest work, and in it He teaches that He is God and there is none else. When you pray for those in authority, pray first and chiefly that they would look unto Him and be saved. All other blessings for a nation are secondary to this: that its rulers and people would escape from the refuge of lies and wait upon God because they can go nowhere else for salvation.

Do not imagine that a mere outward morality or a restraint of retaliation is the end of your petitions. A man may be delivered from the power of evil for a season and yet perish eternally. Oh, it is a dreadful thing to be emancipated from a gross vice only to be bound by a respectable self-righteousness! The salvation which is of God delivers from the power of sin, making a man hate the very thing he once loved. Pray therefore with this holy aim: that leaders would not merely be checked in their schemes, but be made new creatures in Christ Jesus. The Spirit makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God, and He will guide you to plead for their very souls, not solely for a temporal peace. Unless a man is born again, the Spirit’s intercession is not within him; so your prayer must strike at the root, that the unregenerate ruler would become a saint through faith.

And what is this faith? It is believing on a Person, on Him whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. The Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. The way is simple: a look, a trust, a leaving of the whole matter of salvation with Christ in unquestioning confidence. You pray that the Church would be His helpmeet; then let her be about this chief business of setting forth Christ plainly as the only hope. There is no salvation to be obtained from priests, forms, or ceremonies. O splendid perseverance of importunity, that you say, “We cannot restrain our supplication!” Then wait upon Him still, but know that your own salvation and the salvation you plead for others is God’s salvation. It was His in the planning, His in the providing, His in the applying. Rejoice in this: the only salvation worth having is that which is entirely of the Lord, without money and without price. What you would give for it, He gives freely to those who have nothing.

Now, as a good soldier of intercession, you must not forget your own camp. If you desire the salvation of anyone, the most effective prayer rises from a heart that is itself securely resting in Christ. Your own battles with unbelief, your own daily looking to Him, fuel the sacred fire of supplication for others. It is a great advance upon anxiety for your own soul when you rise into the broader care for a brother’s salvation, but that advance is made firm only when your feet are planted on the Rock. So I press this upon you: neglect not your own great salvation. See to it that you possess salvation from the reigning power of sin, for without this, all else is a dream. Depend upon Him without fear as to your present and eternal salvation. Here is salvation for the blackest of sinners; let no secret doubt rob you of joy in His finished work. When you can cry with full assurance, “I will rejoice in Thy salvation,” you will pray with a mightier grip upon the promises, and you will find that He who writes intercession on men’s hearts will use even your feeble words to shake the nations.

Lift up your eyes, then. The gods of the nations shall fall; the idols before which the world bows shall be broken. Christ shall reign, and His saving health shall be known among all people. Your prayer is a tiny fragment of that coming glory. Wait for it. Wait upon God, for He hears. And as you wait, keep looking unto Jesus, for yourself, for your household, and for the ends of the earth.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray with great fervor, piling up Scripture upon Scripture, calling on God to restrain evil and guide the nations. This zeal is not to be despised, for we are commanded to make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all men, for kings and all in authority. Yet take heed, lest your very prayers become a snare. For if you pray thus, but secretly harbor rebellion against the rulers God has set over you, if you despise them in your heart, you resist the ordinance of God. Anarchy is an evil, and a cause of ruin, but disobedience to rulers is no less an evil, and brings down judgment. Pray for them, yes, but also give thanks for them, even when they are unjust, for God often grants salvation through affliction, and comfort through patient endurance of suffering.

You speak of binding the evil one and backing him off from leaders. But remember that the devil is the prince of the power of the air, a world ruler of this darkness, and he will not be moved by our commanding words as though we were his equals. Our warfare is not carnal, but mighty through God. Let your prayer be humble entreaty, not a presumptuous seizing of authority. Christ Himself, when He taught us to pray, said, “Deliver us from evil,” not “Bind the evil one by our decree.” It is God who restrains His enemies, sometimes by an angel, as with the prince of Persia, sometimes by a star, as with the wise men. He condescends to use means we cannot fathom. Your part is to stand watching in prayer with thanksgiving, thanking Him for both affliction and refreshment, for seen and unseen mercies, not to dictate the manner of His victory.

And beware of anger disguised as righteous indignation. When you call down restraint on unruly nations, see that your own heart is not swollen with the fire of passion. Stand aside from the quarrel and observe: the angry man is like a maniac, breathing fire, his reason darkened. Such a one cannot guide others, for he himself is blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both fall into the ditch. Do not therefore think yourself sufficient to be a guide to nations when you have not yet mastered your own spirit. Rather, with the whole Church, let us say, “Let us pray,” and approach the God who loves mankind with sober, watchful minds, making intercession for the whole world.

Finally, do not mistake your separation from evil as a license to revile. Division can be good when it severs us from corruption, but agreement in evil is always destructive. Pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and trust that the powers that be are ordained of Him, not because every ruler is godly, but because the very order of government is His gift to prevent chaos. Lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting, giving thanks in everything, and leave the chaining of Satan to the Day when the Lord himself shall cast him down. For now, rejoice not that the spirits are subject to you, but that your names are written in heaven.
