God You Rule Over Nations Ps 24:1, Restrain Evil, Dan 10:13, Guide Leaders, Prov 21:1, We Pray for them,1 Tim 2:1-2, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SAVE OUR LEADERS and THOSE IN OTHER NATIONS around the world to govern justly in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, Josh 6:20, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149:1-5, Ps 150:1-5, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will, Eph 1:11, -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, lifting up this cry for divine intervention and sovereignty. The Word of God declares, "The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains; the world, and those who dwell in it" (Psalm 24:1 WEB). Indeed, our God reigns over all the earth, and His authority is supreme. We stand on this truth, knowing that no leader, no nation, and no power operates outside of His sovereign will.

Father, we acknowledge that You have determined the appointed times and exact boundaries of every nation (Acts 17:26). You hold the nations in Your hand like a drop in a bucket (Isaiah 40:15), and nothing escapes Your notice or control. We lift up the leaders of the unruly countries mentioned, as well as those in authority across the globe. We pray for them as Your Word instructs: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would restrain the evil one from influencing their decisions and strategies. Just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and exposed Saul’s intentions to David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42), we ask that You would intercept and frustrate every evil plan set against Your people and Your purposes.

We bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to perpetuate cycles of violence and destruction (Daniel 10:12-14). Father, we ask that You would back the evil one away from the leaders and strategists of these nations. Let Your praise and worship rise like a wall of protection, as it did for Jehoshaphat when the armies of Moab and Ammon were defeated without a fight (2 Chronicles 20:22). Just as David’s worship drove away the distressing spirit from Saul (1 Samuel 16:23), we declare that the name of the Lord will be praised from the rising of the sun to its going down (Psalm 113:3), and that this praise will break every chain of darkness.

Lead our leaders and the leaders of every nation away from temptation and deliver them from evil, as Your Son taught us to pray (Matthew 6:13). We are not ignorant of the devil’s schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), for he is a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies (John 8:44). But we do not fear, for You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We take our stand against him, declaring that his plans will not prevail, for You work all things according to the counsel of Your will (Ephesians 1:11).

Lord, we confess that the Church has not always been the helpmeet You designed her to be (Genesis 2:18). We have often been silent when we should have spoken, passive when we should have acted, and divided when we should have been united. Forgive us, Father. We ask that You would raise up a holy nation, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), that imitates Christ in all things (Ephesians 5:1). Just as Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38), we pray that the Church would rise up in power and authority to do the works that He did (John 14:12). Let us be a people of prayer, standing in the gap for the nations, and let our lives reflect the truth and justice of Your kingdom.

We ask that You would spoil the evil one’s plans, turning them back upon him and causing them to conform to Your perfect will. We confess our limitations, Lord, and acknowledge that these battles are not ours but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). We humble ourselves before You, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation (Daniel 9:20). We repent for the ways we have strayed from Your commands, for the idolatry, injustice, and immorality that have taken root in our land. Cleanse us, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10).

We thank You that even now, You are restraining the evil one with a great chain (Revelation 20:2), and one day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). Until that day, we rejoice in the authority You have given us (Luke 10:19) and in the salvation that is ours through Christ (Luke 10:20). We thank You for the privilege of intercession, for the opportunity to partner with You in bringing Your kingdom to earth as it is in heaven.

Father, we declare that the Lord God Omnipotent reigns (Revelation 19:6)! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of truth, humility, and justice (Psalm 45:3-4). Let Your kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. It is through Jesus that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. We come boldly before Your throne, not in our own righteousness, but in the righteousness of Christ, who ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25).

We trust in Your sovereignty, Your justice, and Your mercy. May Your will be done in the nations, and may Your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight in your words, a genuine, aching concern for a world so often held captive to chaos and dark schemes. It can feel overwhelming when we look at the scope of it all, but we’re grateful you put your burden into prayer like this. Sometimes the most important thing we can do is keep lifting these things to the One who is never anxious and never baffled by the state of the nations.

The battle is real, and your intercession matters more than you may feel. But we also know we don’t have to carry the whole thing alone or figure out every outcome. The Lord invites us to pray, and then to rest in his timing, not with frantic grasping but with steady, confident hope. He sees what we cannot, and he is working even when headlines and hearts seem unmoved.

One practical step that has helped many of us is to share this kind of burden with a trusted friend or two, or a small group. Agree to pray together regularly for specific leaders or hard-hit regions. The weight becomes lighter when others help carry it, and we often find our own faith strengthened as we watch for God’s quiet answers.

We are not alone in this. Across the globe the Spirit is stirring many hearts to pray just as you are. We are glad to join you, even now.

Lord Jesus, you are the King of kings. We lift before you every leader, every restless nation, every hidden scheme. Restrain what is evil, open blind eyes, and let your justice and mercy flow into places we cannot reach. Sustain this dear one with your peace, and renew their strength to keep standing in the gap. In your name we pray, amen.

This prayer ascends like incense before the throne, and it is after the pattern of the holy men of old. You have taken the promises of God and spread them before His face; you have pleaded the blood of the covenant, and you have laid hold upon the very sovereignty which the world despises. It is a blessed thing when a soul is so burdened for the nations that it cannot but cry out in this fashion, for such intercession is wrought in us by the Spirit who makes groanings that cannot be uttered.

What a wonder that the Lord who rules the nations should stoop to hear the petitions of dust and ashes! Yet He has commanded us to pray for all in authority, and He has linked His own glory with the peace of His people. When we plead for the restraint of evil, we do but ask what He has promised; when we implore Him to guide leaders and bring salvation to the ends of the earth, we echo the heart of Him who wills all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Not one verse you have quoted returns void; every promise is yea and amen in Christ Jesus.

Yet remember, the sovereignty you so confidently confess is no mere doctrine for the head, but a pillow for the heart. The Lord reigneth, let the earth rejoice. If He has appointed the bounds of nations and the times of their rising and falling, then all the raging of the evil one is but the foaming of a tethered beast. He shall go no further than the chain permits. Christ has already bruised the serpent’s head, and though the dragon writhes, his doom is sure. Do not despair when the answer tarries; Daniel waited twenty-one days, but the prince of Persia withstood the messenger until Michael came. Faithful prayer is never lost; it stores up wrath against the day of wrath and prepares mercy for the appointed hour.

Go on, then, with this holy boldness. Pray without ceasing, and teach others the good and right way. The Church is indeed called to be a helpmeet for her Lord, not by murmuring or by carnal weapons, but by standing in the gap and making up the hedge. Lift up holy hands without wrath and doubting. Confess the sins of the nation, for we are all partakers in a thousand ways; yet plead the name of Jesus, which is the only plea that Heaven accepts. He ever liveth to make intercession, and the Father heareth Him always. Hide yourself in Christ when you pray, and your words shall not fall to the ground.

The day will declare what prayer has wrought. Already the desire of all nations is come, and He shall come again to be admired in His saints. Until then, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and give you peace.

You storm heaven with many verses, yet take heed lest your own soul be unfortified while you besiege the adversary. To pray for rulers is a command, and to desire the restraint of wickedness is good, but the loudest weapon against the evil one is not the multiplication of citations but the humble heart that trembles at its own sin. I see in your words a zeal for God's sovereignty, yet I recall that a man wise in his own conceit has less hope than a fool. Do not think that by heaping up Scripture you twist God's arm, as though the prayer itself were a spell. The devils themselves quoted Scripture to Christ, and they remain in chains.

You ask that the evil one be bound and his plans spoiled. This is right, but begin with the enemy within. For what profit is it if nations are restrained while envy, anger, or pride reign in your breast? The passionate man is no graceful one; his breathing fire, his swollen face, his disordered hands make him like a wild ass kicking and biting. Is that the vessel through which intercession flows acceptably? I beseech you, while we have hopes of salvation, turn. If sinners are so active for their perdition, shall we not show equal zeal for our own deliverance? The eye of the envious wastes in grief, and nothing is worse than to destroy another and oneself together. First root out that venomous beast, then pray for kings and all in authority.

Give thanks for what you receive, and do not abhor the body or its needs as if creation were evil. The faithful exercise self-restraint, not contempt. When you pray for leaders, pray also that you may escape the snare of self-conceit. Lowliness of mind brings forbearance, freedom from anger, soberness. The haughty man is a beast rather than a man; if you are strong, be humbler still, for a lion is stronger than you and you are not even as a fly compared to them. So kneel not as one commanding the throne but as a suppliant confessing his own nation's sins and his own.

Continue to ask that God guide the nations, for He indeed determines their boundaries and times. But let your prayer be seasoned with the recognition that salvation's work is wrought through suffering, not through the noise of many words. If you are evil spoken of, depart quietly; do not return evil for evil. And remember that the devils acknowledge authority but are not converted. It is not the handkerchief or the apron that heals, but the living God, who looks upon the lowly. Therefore pray with fear, give thanks for all things, and watch your own soul lest while you preach to others you yourself become a castaway.

You are not alone in that deep longing for justice to roll down and for the evil one’s schemes to be shattered.

Scripture reminds us that the nations are like a drop in the bucket before His throne. He determines their times and boundaries, and not a single ruler stands apart from His ultimate authority. So we lift them up, not as those who trust in chariots, but as those who know the King’s heart: He desires all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. It is right to plead for the restraining of evil, for the exposing of hidden plots, and for the Spirit to turn the hearts of those in power toward righteousness. We pray because Jesus Himself taught us to cry out for deliverance from the evil one.

Yet as we look at a world where it sometimes seems the wicked prosper and judgment is delayed, the Scriptures caution us not to misinterpret God’s patience. He is not slow; He is merciful, giving space for repentance. That does not diminish the horror of evil, especially when leaders love what is crooked and despise what is good. A nation cannot long stand under such corruption. Still, we do not pray as those without hope. We have not been appointed to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. That salvation is a mighty deliverance, not just from sin’s penalty but into the eternal glory of God’s own family, with Christ as the captain who leads many sons to glory.

Your fight is not only on your knees but in the confidence that the Spirit helps us in our weakness, making intercession according to God’s will. Jesus Himself ever lives to intercede, and He is the express image of the Father, purging sin and reigning until every enemy is under His feet. So take heart. The evil one is a defeated foe, and though for now we must watch and wrestle, we do so knowing that the day of salvation is now proclaimed, and the prison doors are flung open for all who will call on the name of the Lord.

Do not grow weary in well-doing. Shun what is evil, cling to what is good, and let your prayers be mixed with praise that enthrones God in every circumstance. The walls that stand against His purposes will fall even as Jericho’s did, not by human might but by the presence of the Lord. Keep asking, keep trusting, and keep rejoicing that your name is written in heaven. The battle belongs to Him, and His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.
