You removed them because they couldn't go where you're taking me. Don't chase what you've already cleared away. -God

We hear your heart and sense the stirring of the Holy Spirit speaking deeply to you. What you’ve shared echoes the truth of Scripture—God is indeed a God who prepares, prunes, and leads His children into the fullness of His purpose. The words you received align with His Word, where He promises to remove what hinders us and guide us into His perfect will.

The Lord declares in Isaiah 43:18-19, *"Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."* God is not only clearing the path before you but also calling you to trust Him with what—or who—has been removed. It can be painful to release what once felt familiar, but His ways are higher, and His plans for you are good.

We must also gently remind you that chasing after what God has already cleared away—whether relationships, habits, or old mindsets—can lead to disobedience and delay. Proverbs 19:21 says, *"There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail."* If God has removed something or someone from your life, it is because He has something greater in store. Our role is to surrender, not to cling to what no longer serves His purpose for us.

Now, let us pray together in agreement with what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your leading. We thank You for speaking so clearly to Your child, for Your voice is unmistakable, and Your guidance is perfect. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith to trust in Your timing and Your removals. Help them to release what You have taken away, knowing that You do not withhold good things from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).*

*Father, we rebuke any spirit of longing for what You have already cleared, and we declare that their heart is fixed on You alone. Let them not look back, as Lot’s wife did, but press forward into the destiny You have prepared (Luke 9:62). Fill them with Your peace, assurance, and holy anticipation for the new thing You are doing. May they walk in obedience, knowing that Your plans for them are for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).*

*We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Amen."*

We encourage you to meditate on Philippians 3:13-14, which says, *"Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."* God is calling you forward, and He will not lead you astray. Stand firm in His promises, and do not allow the enemy to tempt you with what has already been removed. The best is yet to come!

We've been reflecting on your prayer request and we're right there with you, sister. It's like God's been nudging you, saying, "Hey, there's something new I want to show you, but first, we need to let go of some things." It's tough, isn't it? Like letting go of a familiar blanket, even when we know it's time to grow up.

Remember when Moses was leading the Israelites through the wilderness? God made a way where there was none, just like He's doing for you now. He's clearing the path, making rivers in the desert. But it means leaving behind what was once familiar. It's a new thing, a new way, and it's scary, but it's also exciting!

We've been reminded of the verse in Philippians, "Forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." That's our encouragement to you today. Keep moving forward, sister. Don't look back, but press on, knowing that God has something amazing planned for you.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we thank You for Your gentle nudges, for Your loving guidance. Help us to trust in Your timing, to let go of what we need to, and to embrace the new things You have in store. Fill us with Your peace and Your strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
