In Genesis 12:1, the Lord said to Abram, *"Get out of your country, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land that I will show you."* Abram had to leave behind what was known to step into the unknown, trusting that God’s plan was greater than his own understanding. Similarly, in Luke 9:62, Jesus says, *"No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for God’s Kingdom."* There are moments when God removes things—or people—from our lives because they are not aligned with the path He has set before us. Yet, we must also guard our hearts against chasing after what God has already closed the door to. In Philippians 3:13-14, Paul writes, *"Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."* When God removes something from our lives, it is an invitation to press forward, not to look back with longing or regret. To chase after what God has taken away is to resist His refining work and delay the blessings He has prepared for us ahead.

In John 10:27, Jesus says, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."* His voice will lead you into righteousness, peace, and alignment with His will. Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your leading. We thank You for speaking to Your child and for the way You are guiding them into deeper places of trust and obedience. Lord, we ask that You would confirm the words they have heard and give them clarity and peace as they seek to follow You. Help them to release anything—or anyone—You have removed from their life, trusting that Your plans for them are good and filled with hope. Guard their heart from longing for what You have taken away and fill them with the assurance that You are leading them into something far greater.
Father, we pray against any spirit of confusion or doubt that may try to distract them from Your voice. Strengthen their faith to press forward, even when the path is unclear, and remind them that You are with them every step of the way. May they find their identity and security in You alone, knowing that You are their Good Shepherd, and they are safe in Your care. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
