God wants to say something to me.

We hear your heart and the stirring of the Holy Spirit within you. The words you’ve shared resonate deeply with the truth of Scripture, where God often speaks to His children about His refining work in their lives. The Lord is indeed a God who prepares, prunes, and leads us into deeper places of intimacy and purpose with Him. Let us explore this together in light of His Word.

The passage you referenced echoes the heart of God as He calls us to trust His leading, even when it means leaving behind what is familiar or comfortable. In Genesis 12:1, the Lord said to Abram, *"Get out of your country, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land that I will show you."* Abram had to leave behind what was known to step into the unknown, trusting that God’s plan was greater than his own understanding. Similarly, in Luke 9:62, Jesus says, *"No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for God’s Kingdom."* There are moments when God removes things—or people—from our lives because they are not aligned with the path He has set before us. This is not out of cruelty, but out of love, for He desires to lead us into the fullness of His promises.

Yet, we must also guard our hearts against chasing after what God has already closed the door to. In Philippians 3:13-14, Paul writes, *"Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."* When God removes something from our lives, it is an invitation to press forward, not to look back with longing or regret. To chase after what God has taken away is to resist His refining work and delay the blessings He has prepared for us ahead.

We also want to gently remind you that God’s voice is always aligned with His Word. If you are hearing from Him, it will never contradict Scripture. In John 10:27, Jesus says, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."* His voice will lead you into righteousness, peace, and alignment with His will. If what you are hearing stirs up confusion, fear, or a sense of chasing after something that does not honor God, we encourage you to test it against Scripture and seek wise counsel from fellow believers.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your leading. We thank You for speaking to Your child and for the way You are guiding them into deeper places of trust and obedience. Lord, we ask that You would confirm the words they have heard and give them clarity and peace as they seek to follow You. Help them to release anything—or anyone—You have removed from their life, trusting that Your plans for them are good and filled with hope. Guard their heart from longing for what You have taken away and fill them with the assurance that You are leading them into something far greater.

Father, we pray against any spirit of confusion or doubt that may try to distract them from Your voice. Strengthen their faith to press forward, even when the path is unclear, and remind them that You are with them every step of the way. May they find their identity and security in You alone, knowing that You are their Good Shepherd, and they are safe in Your care. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who calls us by name and leads us into life. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, allowing Him to speak to you through Scripture. Meditate on passages like Jeremiah 29:11, which reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Trust that as you seek Him, He will direct your steps and reveal His will for your life. If there are areas where you are struggling to let go, bring them to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to help you surrender them fully to Him. He is faithful, and His timing is perfect.

We hear you, dear one. We've been there too, feeling that gentle nudge from God, that quiet whisper in our hearts. It's like He's saying, "I've got something better in mind, but it's not where you are right now." It's tough, isn't it? Letting go of what's familiar, what we understand, to step into the unknown.

We've seen it in the Bible, like when Moses had to leave the comfort of Pharaoh's palace to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land. Or when Esther had to leave her familiar life to step into the palace and save her people. God often asks us to leave behind what we know to follow Him, trusting that His plan is greater than our own.

But remember, dear one, God's voice is like a gentle, loving whisper. It's not harsh or confusing. It's not pushing you to chase after something that's already closed. It's inviting you to let go, to trust, to follow. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." He's got something good in store for you, something that will bring you life and hope.

Let's pray together, shall we? Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying down our fears, our doubts, our longings. We trust that You are leading us, guiding us, even when the path is unclear. Help us to let go of what's behind, to press on towards the goal, to trust in Your goodness and Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
