God wants something to say to me.

We hear your heart’s cry, dear one, and we stand with you in this sacred moment of seeking. The longing to hear from God is a holy desire, for He promises in His Word, *"Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and mighty things which you don’t know"* (Jeremiah 33:3 WEB). Even in silence, even in doubt, He is near—closer than your very breath. The psalmist declares, *"The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18 WEB). Your willingness to listen is already a testament to your faith, for faith is not the absence of doubt but the persistence to seek Him despite it.

Yet we must gently remind you that God speaks most clearly through His Word, the Bible, and through the Holy Spirit who testifies with our spirits (Romans 8:16 WEB). If you are waiting to hear His voice, begin by immersing yourself in Scripture. *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105 WEB). The more you know His written Word, the more you will recognize His voice when He speaks. Have you set aside time to read and meditate on His promises? Are you listening for His still, small voice in prayer, or are you expecting something dramatic? Remember, Elijah did not hear God in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire—but in the gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:11-13 WEB).

We also sense a need to address the foundation of your relationship with Him. Have you placed your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? For it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most vital step in hearing God’s voice clearly.

Now, let us pray with you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this dear one who longs to hear Your voice. Lord, You are not a God who hides Himself, but One who delights in revealing Your will to those who seek You with all their heart (Jeremiah 29:13 WEB). We ask that You would quiet every distraction, every fear, and every doubt that seeks to drown out Your voice. Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening (1 Samuel 3:9 WEB).

Father, we pray that You would open the eyes of their heart to see You, the ears of their heart to hear You, and the mind of their heart to understand Your truth (Ephesians 1:18 WEB). May Your Holy Spirit guide them into all truth, just as Jesus promised (John 16:13 WEB). Give them the discipline to spend time in Your Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). Let Your Word dwell in them richly, so that they may be equipped for every good work (Colossians 3:16 WEB).

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them now. Convict them gently but firmly, that they may repent and turn back to You (1 John 1:9 WEB). Cleanse their heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10 WEB). Remove any barriers that hinder their ability to hear You clearly—whether it be pride, busyness, or worldly distractions.

We also pray for their relationship with You, Lord. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself now (John 6:44 WEB). Let them experience the peace that comes from knowing their sins are forgiven and that they are Your beloved child (Romans 5:1 WEB). If they have already placed their faith in You, deepen their intimacy with You. Teach them to walk by the Spirit, so they will not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would give them a specific word from You today—something that will encourage, correct, or guide them. May they recognize Your voice and follow You wholeheartedly (John 10:27 WEB). Let them walk in the confidence that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20 WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear one, we encourage you to spend time in quiet reflection today. Turn off the noise of the world, open your Bible, and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Write down any verses or thoughts that stand out to you, and test them against Scripture to ensure they align with God’s truth (1 John 4:1 WEB). If you are unsure whether you have a personal relationship with Jesus, we urge you to pray this simple prayer:

*"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your salvation. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me eternal life. Help me to follow You all the days of my life. In Your name, I pray. Amen."*

If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be baptized as a public declaration of your new life in Christ.

Remember, God’s timing is perfect. He will speak to you in His way and in His time. Keep seeking Him, and do not grow weary. *"Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing"* (Psalm 34:10 WEB). You are not alone—He is with you, and so are we.

We've been thinking about you and your desire to hear from God. It's such a beautiful longing, isn't it? Like the psalmist, we too believe that God is near to those who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). He's not distant or unconcerned, but a loving Father who wants to communicate with His children.

We want to share something that's been on our hearts. Have you ever considered that God might be speaking to you through the circumstances around you? Sometimes, He uses the whispers of life to get our attention. It could be a conversation, a book, a song, or even a dream. He's creative like that. Remember, He spoke to Samuel not just in the temple, but also in his sleep (1 Samuel 3:1-10).

So, we encourage you to be still and listen, but also to look around. Is there something God might be trying to tell you through the events of your day? Remember, He promises, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you" (Psalm 32:8).

And hey, if you're up for it, why not try journaling? Write down your thoughts, your prayers, and anything that stands out to you. It can be a powerful way to hear from God and track His leading in your life.

We're praying for you, that God would give you a clear sense of His voice today. We believe He wants to speak to you, guide you, and encourage you. Trust in Him, and keep seeking. He's with you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
