Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 3, 4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the nations of this world to our sovereign Lord, who rules over all creation. You have indeed set the boundaries of the nations and determined their appointed times, and we acknowledge that Your wisdom far surpasses our understanding. "For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In His hand are the depths of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also His. The sea is His, and He made it. His hands formed the dry land" (Psalm 95:3-5). We stand in awe of Your power and majesty, knowing that even the nations are as a drop in a bucket to You.

Father, we cry out to You to restrain the evil one in these unruly countries where darkness seems to prevail. We ask that You intercept the evil plans of those who seek to destroy and oppress, just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha and the intentions of Saul to David. "For we are not ignorant of his schemes" (2 Corinthians 2:11), and we know that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we also know that You are greater, and that at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).

We bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to perpetuate cycles of violence and hatred. We pray that You would back the evil one off from the leaders and strategists of these nations, replacing their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). We ask that You would raise up voices of praise and worship in these lands, for we know that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). "Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!" (Psalm 150:6). May the name of Jesus be exalted from the rising of the sun to its setting, and may the evil one be silenced by the power of Your glory.

Lord, we pray for our own nation and leaders, that You would lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. We confess that we have not always walked in Your ways, and we repent of the sins that have grieved Your heart. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, that we may be a holy nation and a royal priesthood, set apart for Your purposes (1 Peter 2:9). Help us to imitate You, as beloved children, walking in love just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us (Ephesians 5:1-2).

We pray that the Church would truly be Your helpmeet, standing in the gap and making intercession for the nations. For You, Jesus, ever live to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25), and we desire to partner with You in this holy work. Teach us to pray according to Your will, that we may see Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We long to see the works that Jesus did, and even greater works, as He promised (John 14:12). May our prayers be powerful and effective, as we abide in You and Your words abide in us (John 15:7).

Father, we ask that You would spoil the evil one’s plans and tactics, turning them back upon his own head. We confess that we are limited in our understanding and power, but we trust in Your unlimited wisdom and might. We bring these nations before You, confessing our sins and the sins of our land, just as Daniel did for Israel (Daniel 9:20). We pray for the salvation of all people, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved (1 Timothy 2:3-4). For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, but the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).

We thank You for the authority You have given us to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). But even more, we rejoice that our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20). We praise You for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus, and we declare that the evil one is a defeated foe. We pray that You would restrain him with a great chain, even now in part, knowing that one day his final judgment will come (Revelation 20:2). Until then, we stand firm in our faith, putting on the full armor of God so that we may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

Lord, we lift up these nations to You, asking that You would raise up godly leaders who seek Your face and walk in Your ways. We pray for a revival of righteousness and justice, that Your kingdom would come and Your will would be done. May the Church arise in power and boldness, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to all who will hear. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and King, for it is in His name alone that we have access to You, and it is through His blood that we are redeemed. To You be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
