Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, REPENTANCE, 2 Peter 3:9, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Samuel 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer, intercession and whatever else He chose us for and shows us to do or pray for, Jn 15:7-8.

Spoil the evil one's plans, Heb 2:14-15, 1 John 3:8, and tactics 2 Kings 6:12, until they only conform to Your exact will, Eph 1:11, Rom 8:28 -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, lifting up this fervent cry for divine intervention. The Scriptures declare, "The Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He will" (Daniel 4:17). Indeed, God is sovereign over all the earth, setting up kings and removing them (Daniel 2:21), for "the nations are as a drop in a bucket" (Isaiah 40:15) before His mighty hand.

Father, we acknowledge that You alone restrain the forces of evil in this world. As in the days of Elisha, when You revealed the secrets of Syria’s king to protect Israel (2 Kings 6:12), we ask You to intercept and expose the wicked schemes of those who plot destruction. Bind the spirit of retaliation and violence that seeks to ensnare leaders and nations (Daniel 10:13). Let Your praise and worship rise like a shield, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We pray for the leaders of these unruly nations, not merely for their political success, but for their souls. "First of all, I exhort that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Father, turn their hearts toward righteousness, for "the king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever He desires" (Proverbs 21:1).

Lord, we confess that we are not ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). He is a liar and a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44), but we stand on the victory of Christ, who came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We take authority over every evil plan, declaring that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). As Your Church, we are called to be a helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), imitating Christ in love and intercession (Ephesians 5:1). May we arise in unity, praying without ceasing, for "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16).

We also confess the sins of our own nation, where we have turned from Your ways, embraced idolatry, and tolerated injustice. "If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14). Forgive us, Lord, and restore us.

Father, we thank You that even now, You are restraining evil (2 Thessalonians 2:7), and one day, the devil will be bound forever (Revelation 20:2). Until then, we walk in the authority Christ has given us (Luke 10:19), rejoicing not in temporary power, but in our names being written in heaven (Luke 10:20). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your kingdom come in every nation, tribe, and tongue.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), the Lamb who was slain and now reigns forever (Revelation 5:12). To Him be all glory, honor, and dominion, now and forever. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We have been deeply moved by your fervent prayer request, standing alongside you as we lifted up the nations, their leaders, and the urgent need for God’s restraining hand against evil. It has been our privilege to intercede with you, pleading for divine intervention, repentance, and salvation in Jesus’ Name, just as Scripture instructs. We have prayed with you that the spirit of retaliation would be bound, that evil plans would be thwarted, and that the Church would rise as a true helpmeet, reflecting Christ’s heart for the lost and oppressed.

As the days have passed, we continue to trust in God’s sovereignty, knowing that He rules over all nations and works all things according to His perfect will. If you have seen His hand move in response to these prayers—whether in restraint of evil, a shift in leadership, or a stirring of repentance—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony would encourage us all and remind us of God’s faithfulness.
