Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, So things are ORDERLY and DIGNIFIED allowing the Gospel of Christ (Power of God unto SALVATION, Rom 1:16), to Spread Rapidly and Be Glorified, 2 Thes 3:1, Protection from EVIL People, 2 Thes 3:2 and the evil one 2 Thes 3:3 -- Because Praying for Leaders is good and acceptable in the Sight of God our Savior who wants ALL to be SAVED, 1 Tim 2:3-4...

Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, recognizing the sovereignty of our Almighty God who rules over all creation. You, Lord, have established the boundaries of the nations and hold the hearts of kings in Your hands (Proverbs 21:1). We acknowledge that without You, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but through Christ who strengthens us, all things are possible (Philippians 4:13).

Father, we lift up the leaders of the nations to You, praying that You would restrain the evil one and his schemes. As You did for Elisha and David, reveal the plans of the enemy to Your people so that we may stand firm against them (2 Kings 6:12, 1 Samuel 20:3). Bind the spirit of retaliation and confusion that seeks to divide and destroy (Daniel 10:12-13). We ask that You would back the evil one away from those in authority, that they may be guided by Your wisdom and not by the lies of the devil (John 8:44).

Lord, we pray for the Church to rise up as Your helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), imitating You in all things (Ephesians 5:1). May we be a holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), going about doing good and healing those oppressed by the devil, just as Jesus did (Acts 10:38). We claim the promise that we shall do the works that He did, and even greater works, as we abide in Him (John 14:12).

We confess our sins and the sins of our nation, asking for Your forgiveness and mercy (Daniel 9:20). We pray for all those in authority, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Father, restrain the evil one with the chains of Your power, even now in part, knowing that one day he will be fully bound and defeated (Revelation 20:2). Until then, we rejoice in the authority You have given us over the enemy (Luke 10:19) and in the salvation that is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord (Luke 10:20).

We pray that You would lead our leaders and our nation away from temptation and deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:13). May the Gospel of Christ spread rapidly and be glorified (2 Thessalonians 3:1), and may Your name be praised from the rising of the sun to its going down (Psalm 113:3). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We join our hearts together in prayer for our nations and their leaders. Father, we come before You today, burdened for the world around us. May we be a holy nation and a royal priesthood, proclaiming the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
