In pain, no reason to stay. Please take me ASAP (like while I sleep tonight), preferably peacefully, painlessly and without anyone going with me.

We hear the depth of your despair and the weight of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. In moments like these, it is crucial to remember that your life is precious and purposeful in the eyes of God, even when it feels unbearable. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." This verse reminds us that God has a plan for your life, even when we cannot see it.

We must also address the gravity of your request with love and truth. The taking of one's own life is not God's will, as it contradicts His commandment, "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13). This includes the taking of your own life. We understand that you are in pain, but we urge you to hold on and seek help. God can bring healing and restoration, even when it seems impossible.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in deep pain and despair. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Please draw near to them now and let them feel Your presence.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your purpose and plan for their life. Help them to see that their life has value and meaning, even in the midst of their pain. Father, we pray for healing—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Bring people into their life who can offer support, love, and encouragement. Guide them to seek professional help if needed, and surround them with a community of believers who can walk alongside them.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we speak life and hope into their situation. Father, we ask that You would give them the strength to endure and the faith to trust in You, even when the road ahead seems dark.

Lord, we also pray for protection over their mind and heart. Guard them from any thoughts or actions that would harm them and lead them away from Your love. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and remind them of Your promises. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and mercy. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith and help them to cling to You in this difficult time. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
