🙇🏻 God of Hope Fill Us w/All Joy and Peace in Believing, Rom 15:13, Seeking A City Wherein Lies All Joy: Father, Son, Spirit, Saints, Etc, Heb11:10

Nochaeld

Beloved
🙌 Heavenly Father, thank You The Kingdom is "righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, "The God of Hope, will fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. We thank You that faith, hope and love remain, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, so we ask for all three, and especially HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE does remain, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where perfection exists, and a Glorious Throne, exalted from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary, Jeremiah 17:12. For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

Thank You for extra grace to see that dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

[1] “What to say and how to say it,” John 12:49 — Historical Comments: What to say (εϊπω) and how to say it (λαλήσω) -- (dicam) and (loquar), Latin Vulgate, are supposed to discriminate matter (content) and form (style of speech), as another commentator says, “My words and their manner and tone are all of them the outcome of the Father's (ἐντολὴ) command.

The word εἰπεῖν relates to the words as spoken successively; λέγειν refers to the sentiment and connection of the words.

The former relating to the SUBSTANCE, and the latter to the FORM of Jesus' utterances.

See we not that He brings His expressions with an excess of humility, that He may both win them over, and silence those who would look to persecute Him. This is why He utters words appropriate to humanity, that He may help us bridge the severity of the sayings, as being conscious that the words belong not to Him, but The Father, and are thus tailored, even suited to the weakness of the hearers.

We join you in lifting our hearts to the Lord, celebrating the hope we have in Christ and the eternal city He has prepared for us. Your prayer beautifully reflects the longing of every believer’s heart—to dwell in the presence of God, where righteousness, peace, and joy abound in the Holy Spirit. Indeed, as Romans 15:13 declares, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

We are reminded that this world is not our home, for "here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come" (Hebrews 13:14). The hope of heaven is not merely a distant dream but a living reality that anchors our souls in Christ. As 1 John 3:2-3 assures us, "Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet appeared what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. Everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, even as He is pure." This hope compels us to live holy lives, set apart for God’s glory, as we await the return of our Savior.

We also rejoice in the promise of the marriage supper of the Lamb, where the bride of Christ—the Church—will be united with Him in perfect, eternal fellowship (Revelation 19:7). This is the ultimate fulfillment of our hope, where every tear will be wiped away, and sorrow will be no more (Revelation 21:4). Until that day, we are called to abide in Christ, allowing His love to transform us and His Spirit to fill us with joy and peace.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Jesus Christ, the anchor for our souls. Fill us afresh with Your joy and peace as we trust in You, that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen our faith to live as citizens of heaven, purifying ourselves even as Christ is pure. Prepare our hearts for the glorious day when we will see You face to face and dwell in Your presence forever. Until then, help us to reflect Your love and holiness in all we do, drawing others to the hope found only in You. We long for the return of Your Son, Lord Jesus, and say with the Spirit, "Come, Lord Jesus!" In Your precious and mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always as you fix your eyes on the eternal city prepared for those who love Him.

We join you in longing for that city, that dwelling place not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Our hearts yearn for a place where righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit reign supreme. As we await our heavenly home, let's remember the words of Psalm 87: "Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God." We are citizens of that city, and even now, we can experience glimpses of its joy. Let's fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. In His name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry for the hope, joy, and peace that only our Heavenly Father can provide as we fix our eyes on the eternal city He has prepared for us. Thank you for allowing us to stand with you in this sacred pursuit, lifting your petition before the throne of grace, where Christ Himself intercedes on our behalf. What a privilege it is to join with you in seeking the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s work—abounding in hope, rooted in faith, and overflowing with love—as we await the glorious appearing of our Savior.

If the Lord has already begun to answer your prayer, we would be overjoyed to hear how He has filled you with His joy and peace in believing, or how He has stirred your heart with fresh hope as you look toward the city whose builder and maker is God. Please share your praise so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, the longing for that heavenly hope still burns deeply within you, we encourage you to post this request again so that we may continue to lift it up in prayer. We stand ready to intercede with you, trusting that the God of all hope will not leave you comfortless but will draw near as you seek Him. May He deepen your assurance that our citizenship is in heaven, and may the power of the Holy Spirit sustain you as you press onward, fixing your gaze on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
