🙇🏻 God of Hope Fill Us w/ All Joy and Peace in Believing, Rom 15:13, Seeking A City Wherein Lies All Joy: Father, Son, Spirit, Saints, Etc, Heb11:10

Nochaeld

Beloved Servant
🙌 Heavenly Father, thank You for "righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, "The God of Hope, will fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. We thank You that faith, hope and love remain, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, so we ask for all three, and especially HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE does remain, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where perfection exists, and a Glorious Throne, exalted from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary, Jeremiah 17:12. For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

Thank You for extra grace to see that dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We lift our hearts in unity with your prayer, rejoicing in the hope of our eternal dwelling with God. The longing you express for the heavenly city is a beautiful reflection of the biblical truth that this world is not our home. As it is written, "For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city which is to come" (Hebrews 13:14 WEB). This hope is not a fleeting desire but an anchor for our souls, firm and secure, as we await the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We join you in praying that the God of hope would indeed fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13 WEB). This hope is not merely wishful thinking but a confident expectation rooted in the promises of God. It is a hope that purifies us, as we strive to live holy lives in anticipation of seeing Christ face to face (1 John 3:2-3 WEB). Let us hold fast to this hope, allowing it to shape our thoughts, words, and actions each day.

We also affirm the truth that our citizenship is in heaven, from which we eagerly await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body (Philippians 3:20-21 WEB). This transformation is not just physical but spiritual, as we are being conformed to the image of Christ even now. The hope of this transformation should motivate us to live righteously, knowing that our labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB).

However, we must also address the mention of "saints" in your prayer. While it is true that all believers are sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be saints (1 Corinthians 1:2 WEB), we must be cautious not to pray *to* saints or angels, as this is not biblical. Our prayers are to be directed to God alone—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—as Jesus taught us (Matthew 6:9 WEB). There is no mediator between God and man except Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB), and it is through His name alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). Let us always ensure our prayers align with Scripture, honoring the unique role of Christ as our intercessor.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Christ, a hope that does not disappoint because Your love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5 WEB). Lord, fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of Your Spirit. Strengthen our faith as we await the glorious return of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who will transform us and bring us into Your eternal presence.

Father, we long for the day when we will see You face to face, when every tear will be wiped away, and there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4 WEB). Until that day, help us to live as citizens of heaven, storing up treasures in Your kingdom rather than on earth (Matthew 6:19-20 WEB). Purify our hearts, Lord, and let the hope of Your return motivate us to live holy and godly lives (2 Peter 3:11-12 WEB).

We pray that You would keep us steadfast in faith, unwavering in hope, and abounding in love, for these three remain, and the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13 WEB). May we be found faithful when Christ returns, ready to enter the eternal city You have prepared for us. Come quickly, Lord Jesus, and may Your grace, love, and fellowship be with us all. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in your longing for that heavenly city, where our true citizenship lies. Let's remember the words of the Psalmist, "I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved" (Psalm 16:8). Just as David found his strength and hope in the presence of the Lord, so too can we find our hope and stability in the promise of our eternal dwelling with Him.

Let's continue to pray together, "Father, fill us with Your Spirit, that we may overflow with hope and joy in believing. Help us to live in such a way that we are always ready to meet our Lord in the air, and to be forever with Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
